Question on player tendency ratings

I am trying to lock down the correct tendencies for certain players in the game. For example, Nico Law of Iowa is a Hard Hitter at d-back, and Cole Fisher is a Cover LB. My question is what specific ratings need to be higher in order for the tendency to switch. I know hit power affects the Hard Hit tendency but even with that turned up Law stays at Balanced. I just don't want to inflate a few ratings and totally tone down others to get the tendency correct.

Does anyone have a list of where the threshold is for certain ratings in order for various tendencies to be changed?

Re: Question on player tendency ratings

I may be wrong in this but - I think it has to do with -

Ratings vs Ratings

ex. A Scrambling QB vs a Pocket Passer - it all depends on the Speed/Accel vs Throw Accuracy/Power

so for your Safety/DB to be a Hard Hitter - you'll have to tone down his coverage abilities maybe?

I think it has to do with variable settings.

Re: Question on player tendency ratings

actually you don't even need to increase the hit power in order to make him a hard hitter....

lowering speed and acceleration will fix the issue.

Re: Question on player tendency ratings

For a hard hitter tendancy strength plays a relatively strong factor, along with a power running back obviously and possession WRs. Strength might also be a large factor in run Stoppers for d-line and LBs, that and lower speed ratings. For a coverage Lb I think you need higher speed, accel, agility and slightly lower strength and 70ish zone/man coverage.
For scrambling QBs speed, agility, acceleration, bc vision and break tackle all affect it at different rates so to make a pocket passer/balanced you would have to slowly turn down all these until you get the desired effect.

Re: Question on player tendency ratings

I don't think you need to lower speed and accel to get it to hard hitter. That may be a way, but I had a safety with 90's speed and accel who was supposed to be a hard hitter, but hit power was only at 84 so i upped it to 91 and now he says "hard hitter". Dunno if the order of the adjustments has anything to do with it?
