Re: Create a Player Manifesto/ Database/Conversation Hub

Im still searching for a place that gives a reliable, simple scouting report on college/nfl players from the past 30 years. Not stats or Biographies, but a simple "good hands for a running back" "poor route running for a receiver" "good run stopper, poor pass coverage", etc.

I've looked all over for what you speak of. I think it's as elusive as The Holy Grail.

Re: Create a Player Manifesto/ Database/Conversation Hub

Yeah it's really tough to get information beyond 1997.

Usually I can find 40 times and verticals for players in the early 90's and late 80's via individual player(s) research.

Over at the VSN site there's tons of news articles posted that we found on older players beyond 1997.

For example to my surprise i stumbled upon a scouting report artcle regarding Billy Cannon who played in the 50's.

I also posted a scouting report site for all starting QB's in the 60's, 70's and 80's which breaks downs each QB's strength's and weaknesses during that era.
