Anyone want to help fill in the blanks ( ie. NCAA 14 config legwork )?

With NCAA 14 being the last installment we may see for some time, I know I personally would like to create the most complete config file possible for the Generic Editor, and I think a few others may too?

In order to do that there are LOTS of fields / tables undefined, but what I think would make more of an immediate impact is mapping the values of fields that we do know.

Example. Coaching Position is a known field and in the editor, you can see there are 3 values - 0, 1, 2. If you check these respective coaches in game, you'll see that 0 == Head Coach, 1 == Offensive Coordinator, 2 == Defensive Coordinator.

That's an example of the stuff I'd like to work on and quite honestly, could use some help. Things that are visual ( ie. faces ) are going to be hard to do, but stuff like shoes, sock length, tendency, etc and things that are 'doable' but take time.

After all that typing, my fingers hurt ( 13056 different values... yes... that sucked! ), so for now, I'm going to leave it up to you all to post mappings you'd like to share. I think the next logical step would be equipment. Anyone can do it - just open a roster in the editor and in game and map the editor value to the equipment name / description. Repeat for each option ( find a player with an equipment alternative and check the value in the editor ), then post here - that's it!

I'd already done a bit of digging with Massachusetts in NCAA13 b/c the fixed recruit class sizes, and a little bit with NCAA14 out of curiosity. From what I've seen, this might not be as easy as you're hoping.

"Should be" is the list of cities/towns that show up as you go through Create A Player. In this case, there are no dupes, and it's in correct alphabetical order.

"Actually is in NCAA14" is the corresponding Hometown Desc codes from the Dynasty Editor and Generic Editor. I cross checked a few betweenthe Generic Editor with your NCAA14 config file and the Dynasty Editor just to make sure the numbers were still the same and they all checked out.

I didn't list it, but when I checked out the same thing in NCAA13, the cities were mostly in correct alphabetical order. I wasn't as thorough then b/c I was just looking for the upper and lower bounds (which I thought were 5120-5170) so I could create more recruits from MA.

It looks like the range for Massachusetts towns is still the same, but they randomized the description relationship with IDs in NCAA14 for some reason.

I haven't tested any other states in either '13 or '14, but I'd think it's safe to assume they randomized the town IDs across the board.

Yeah I had to edit my post, as I thought they were in alphabetical order and quickly found out they were not in some cases. Makes it much more painful, but still doable.
