So, I’ve done some trouble shooting and one reason it might not open is because I have a duplicate in the file. I have found the issue.
There are two Penn state teams (the team I use in the dynasty) listed under teams. (An image attached below) Attachment 163798
How do I delete the team? The delete button doesn’t work and you can clear all of the data from the fields. What do I do to delete it?

It's definitely possible because I created my fictional roster this way. Here is what I did.
I took a base roster file and exported it into an Excel file through the use of the Dynasty editor. Then i did the same with my Dynasty file...exported it into an Excel file. I then copied the dynasty file and pasted it over the base roster file. I then inported the "new" base roster file back into the editor and wa laaaa.
You do have to watch out for duplicate players. Make sure you use the dynasty editor because the dynasty editor allows you to delete players off of the roster.
Hope this helps.
