Njkroc's Ncaa 2005 Sliders (Coming Soon)

I have been away from the board for awhile but I'm back and have some new ideas along with some others things that I have been trying with Madden and now Ncaa 2005. I have been working with the all-pro and all-american levels and HFA (still off).

I'm still testing them but will post on sunday night after all of the games are through.

I still play 8min quarters but these can be used for 4min quarters as well and I will show you how.

My sliders are based off of the team specific slider concept with changes to how the averages of the ratings are placed on the slider chart.

when the idea was first shown to me Timathie had a chart which he converted to fit the players aver rating number to his slider chart. His chart though only went from 0=50 to 20=100.

My chart is similar but different because I have mine set from 0 to 100.

In my chart 0=0, 1=(1-5), 2=(6-10), 8=(36-40), 15=(71-75), 20=(96-100)

Also I still take the average of the player ratings but for the Qb I also include Throw power and Awareness, I also use awareness for the kickers and punters kick power.

I take the average of the ratings then I subtract that from 100 this will then give me a number which I use to place on my chart. To me it makes more sense to use this number instead.

Think of it like this if you average the players catch to be 80 on my chart this would be 16 as the slider setting but now you have Billy bump nuts catching everyting and he is a 32 at catching, my way would be to subtract 80 from 100 which is 20 then on my chart 20 would be 4 this number is what I would use. Your man is already an 80 at catch so he should catch the ball so 16 would be way to high at 4 you will get realistic catches and your best players will stand out also the Qb acc when set just right will give you more catches.

And for all the haters Wide receivers do drop balls and 3 or 4 is not alot try holding on to one with Ray Ray breathing down your neck.

In my dynasty I am using Cinncinati and I already lost to Ohio St 34-10 and I just beat Syracuse this game was hard the score going into the 4th quarter was 3-0 me(cinnci) and they finally scored to make the score 7-3 I came back with 1min 5sec to score and one the game 10-7.

Don't worry so much about passing % because this is a video game and trying to get the qb's to pass in the 50% is hard especially with all the different teams you face and since this is a video game and not real football.

I've played two games in my dynasty using these sliders. I beat Tennessee 30-20 and Miss St. 24-10. I'm #1 in the country right now. So far so good.

I didn't check the stats after either of those games. I know that the game against Tennessee had balanced stats. I'm to the point now where I don't really care about stats. I just want to have fun playing the game.
