Re: AuburnAlumni's FINAL Heisman Sliders

Whew!

Well...Steve Spurrier brought his Carolina boys into Auburn and gave me a heck of a scare!

The game was tied with 4min left at 27...but the Auburn defense came up with two HUGE Interceptions, including one returned for a TD, to make the score look far worse than it actually was, 44-27.

Both teams looked sloppy in the downpour, and the young pups of Carolina really showed flashes of what they may be capable of under Captain Visor.

The Auburn front seven really stepped it up today, sacking the South Carolina QBs 7 times, pressuring them 18 times, and causing 4 turnovers.

The South Carolina Defense was equally destructive...taking advantage of a suspended Marcus McNeill (94 rating) and injured Ben Grubbs (87 rating) on the Auburn O line, sacking Cox 6 times, and causing 5 turnovers in a monsoon.

Stats from the game....

Total Offense: South Carolina 293 Auburn 414
Passing: SC 13-35-176-1 TD Auburn 17-33-243-3 TDs
Rushing: SC 26-117 Auburn 46-171

Some Key Individual Stats....

SC Corey Boyd 15 carries 123 yards-2TDs, long of 59 yards
SC Kris Clark 6 catches for 102 yards 1 TD
SC Justin Sorensen 6 pancakes, 2 sacks allowed
SC Mike West 11 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 Sacks 1 Pass Deflection
SC Ricardo Hurley 8 Tackles, 3 TFL, 1 sack

Aub Kenny Irons 16 carries 126 yards 0 TDs, long of 36
Aub Tre Smith 23 carries for 89 yards 1 TD, long of 19
Aub Courtney Taylor 10 catches 213 yards 2 TDs (p-l-a-y-m-a-k-a!)
Aub Troy Reddick 9 pancakes, 1 sack allowed
Aub Antarrious Williams 9 tackles, 4 TFL, 4 sacks, 1 Int, 2 Pass Deflections!

I love this freaking game!

Now it gets interesting...after 5 straight home games, I go to Fayetteville to take on the Hogs and then....it's time to head to Baton Rouge and Death Valley to face #9 LSU. Should be fun.

These sliders aren't bad at all...just a little harder and it'll be good. Running is still a little too easy.

That's probably my only complaint. I'm hitting the 100 yard mark with Leon Washington on about 15-18 carries. Other than that, I think these sliders are great.

Well...here is what I would do if you are getting too much in your opinion on the ground...

Decrease Human Run Block by 1, Increase CPU Defensive Awareness by 1, increase CPU Break Block by 1.

Like I said..1 click increments should be close enough to solidify any running or passing problems.

Try it and see.

Good sliders AA. I've just finished playing this game 6 hours straight. I started an OU Dynasty and AP went for 237 on 33 carries.

Well I'm in deep doo doo right now.

After dispatching Arkansas pretty handily...I swaggered into Baton Rouge with an attitude.

It's now 17-0 LSU with 3 min left in the first half.

Alley Broussard has carried LSU on his back to the tune of 85 yards on 21 carries and a TD.

The LSU defense is swarming and knocked Brandon Cox out for the first quarter. My backup, Calvin Booker, hasn't been able to get anything going, and Tre Smith is the only bright spot on the O right now with 66 yards on 9 carries.

I just got torched by Jamarcus Russell on a 78 yard TD pass to Dwayne Bowe.

I've got problems....
