Re: NCAA Season Stats

Thanks for the stats info, I was going make a post asking for these.

It'd be interesting to see how the stats break down for various conferences. I'd also be interested in seeing other stat categories.

Your welcome. If you are interested in conference or individual team stats, visit http://www.ncaa.org/stats/football/footballMenu.html

I simply downloaded the trend reports and averaged the numbers in a spreadsheet.

Hope this helps.

Absolutely perfect!

That's exactly what I need to work on with for my Heisman sliders. With some time and adjustments, Heisman level with the sliders will be nearly flawless.

I hope the community will love the sliders when it's done with the development.

Re: NCAA Season Stats

For anyone that is using these stats to work on correct sliders I have to warn you of one thing. Last years actual season Rushing YPC was 4.03, but if you sim some games in dynasty mode you will notice that in the game it is closer to 5.0 or 5.1.

I have simmed about 30-40 games to test this, so if you base your sliders on the 4.03 average from last season your running backs may wind up with worse stats than other teams whose games you are simming.

Re: NCAA Season Stats

I like to sim some games with the CPU vs CPU. Last year's running stats in this format were pretty good. This year, although I haven't simmed 30-40 games, the run stats are a bit less than close to ideal. It's as though they have to dumb down something in order to make something else noticably better.

Can anyone answer this? The clock has always stopped after a 1st down in college and restarted when the ref spotted the ball. What is the new rule?
