When you edit tendencies for pass/run should the red bar be more full for more running or should it be towards running fo more running? Like say the ratio is 60/40 run to pass, should i go to 40 or 60? I figure 100 is all pass so 40 is 40 pass then again is red for running and gray for passing?

That's correct if it said 100 then that means the team is setup to pass 100% of the time.

So, if you see it at 45 it means 45% pass. The Passing ratio is the percentage being displayed all ready by EA.

Remember the settings posted on the front page is what teams utilized last year. They may differ from what EA has listed at DEFUALT already.

I know for sure the defenses I'm going to input for certain teams will be totally different from the base 4-3 EA assigned most teams. That is because I want to add a few more wrinkles into gameplay and throw different defensive looks into the game other than the 4-3 base set.

Do they play something other than a 4-3 just curious so when I get to them under team strategy.

I tried them on PS2 (a couple of things had to be different though) and got some pretty realistic results, so I would say that they do work on PS2 at least.

You can only do it once you start a dynasty. Look under strategy.

It's kinda in between a 4-3 and a 3-4. They have two DTs and a DE, and then they have a Buck LB that either plays off the line or on. NCAA 2007 has the Bucks listed as DE's on the game, but they're LB-sized and last year's Buck (Justin Parrish) played off the line quite a bit
