Re: Playmakers (360 AA Level Sliders)

Hey TheAUB, what is Auburn's running game and OL like? Because being a WSU student, I have had many chances to see the swiss cheese defense ruin many a game. All last year in fact. I have never seen a team lose so many times in the last part of the game because they have no ability to stop an opponent. So this might be more of a problem with the Cougars ratings being a bit too realistic (ha ha) than the sliders.

Just my input.

Auburn has one of the best RB's in the country (Kenny Irons) and a very good O-Line.

After an extremely unrealistic 41-31 win with my tweaks, I went back to the original sliders and just moved from level one to level two. The CPU still passes way to much, but at least the scores and yards are realistic (and I only have 39 yards rushing).

I haven't finished the RUN/PASS Ratio yet for all teams. But if you give them a lower Pass ratio they will attempt to run the ball very often.

Also, keep in mind that the defense on the 360 version might be touggher than current gen NCAA 06. I may rent that game and try to help guy's out with the current gen sliders.

Syracuse 57% Run / 43% Pass
Pittsburgh 54% Run / 46% Pass
USF 66% Run / 34% Pass
Louisville 56% Run / 44% Pass
West Virginia 76% Run / 24% Pass

I used http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/2006/Inte...0000823TD.HTML as my basis for these numbers.

Thanks alot these will get posted on the front page with the other conferences. My goal is to create sliders that help the CPU keep the human defense offense and respect the running game.

You could lower your BRK BLK SLIDER down or increase their RUN BLK SLIDER UP.

These are still early so I'm trying to test as many teams as possible to find good balance. I will take a look at CAL later this evening and some OL's are going to be better at Pass Blocking than Run blocking so it might very from game to game.

I'll also look into Human DEF AWR which will slow down the reaction time just a bit to allow the CPU offense to excel consistently if they have good players.

Yeah...LSU is 50-50 in the game too, but when I play Alabama, who's 67-33, they run the ball.

I think I'm going to set my D strategy to 55-45 pass from 53-47 run, and see what happens then. I just hope it's not broken and teams are going to throw the ball 45 times a game and run 10 times.

Thanks make the process much quicker for me.

I'm also going to assign ASU a 3-3-5 Defense aswell.
