Recent Update:

As for my sliders, I have finally settled on some. I am hanging up my lab coat and finished tweaking. I think i just had my most entertaining game yet with these new sliders. I was Southern Miss @ Ole Miss. It was a very good game. Both offenses were sharp and the defenses were making plays as well. I ended up losing 27-21, and it felt great. Everything was spot on IMO. Here are the stats.

USM Miss
Score 21-27
1st Downs 14-19
Total Off 287-318
Rush Att./Yds 24-75 33-106
Pass Cmpl/Att/TD 17-27-2 21-30-1
Pass Yds 212-212
Sacked 1-4
3rd Down 6-11 (54%) 8-15 (53%)
Fumbles-Lost 3-1 0-0
Penalties 3-40 3-40

Ole Miss
QB#7- 21/30, 212 yds, 70%, 1td, 1int
HB#22- 18 att, 84yds, 4.6 avg
LOLB#49(97 ovr)- 7tkl, 1tfl, 1sck, 1int, 2ff

Southern Miss
QB#10- 17/27, 212 yds, 2td, int, 62%
TE#83(impact 88ovr)- 10cth, 122 yds, TD, 46YAC
CB#14- 9 tkl, 2 PassDfl

This game was in the upper 80s at kickoff and heat was a factor. As you can see, their LB dominated the game. A nice touch I saw was that he was subbed out during a stretch late in the third. He was not having the same impact and I guess the cpu gave him a break, and boy he came back fresh in the 4th qtr, completely forcing me to change up my plays by hot routing and sliding protection. If it even looked like he was thinknig about blitzing I was adjusting. A nice chess match going on between him and my QB. My HB also needed some spells throughout the game and by the fourth, the combination of the heat and their LB took all the steam out of him. I was getting blocking, but he couldn't do much with it in the 4th. Great Game. So now, for the sliders, I am finished tweaking. I may tweak a slider by + or - 5, after some games, but these are final, as Lee Corso would say, "you can five-star lock it".

I have to say these are the best I've seen across the board yet. I've had 3 really great games and not so many turnovers. The only thing I see wrong now, is the CPU doesn't miss any FG's ever.

Re: <the_future420's Heisman Xbox Sliders>

Alrighty,I just finished my first game. I am not even going to bother posting stats because the game was rediculous. The first half was awesome. I was CLemson playing against Hawaii (at clemson). I put up 10 points eaely and they managed 6 by half time. Every thing seemed great except my running game which hasn't been good any. Start the 2nd half i get the ball, QB gets rushed, sacked, fumbled, and injured......Goodbye Momentum!! They scored after driving a long 15 yards. From here it was over. I didn't even sniff the goallone. Ended with 3 INT and 3 fumbles to there 1 fumble and 2 INT. There passing was 29-41 351 yards to my 17 for 29 213 yards. My rushing was brutal, Davis was 20 for 56 yards (I just cant get it goin). And of course Hawaii doesn't know they have a running back. I forgot to mention they were probably 15 for 15 passing once they got momentum which brings me to my whine time.

Momentum:
I cannot decide if I like it or not. Sometimes it seems great but for me, everytime the CPU gets full momentum, its game over for me. Even if a break a big play and get 20-30 yards. They are still shooting through the lines and killing my players (And i use both slide protection, and fake snap). Momentum seems a lil sketchy to me.

Anyway I think I mau not give up yet and try a game with a great team vs poor team, and a poor team vs a poor team. We will see.

BTW Halftime score: 10-6 Clemson Final Score 41-10 Hawaii(2 TO returned for TDs) 28 of those points in 3rd quarter

Yo I just got done tryin out your sliders man and so far so good. I played Michigan (me) against Penn State. I won the game 33-27 in a 4th quarter comeback. I was down after three quarters 27-24. They did not score after the first half. Sorry i dont have the exact stats but heres what i do know. Both Hunt and Hart were 100+ yrd rushers. Chad Henne was somethin like 10-24 260 yrds 2 td and 1 int. Penn States QB (forgot the name) was like 18-34 232 1td 2 int's. Steve Breaston had the biggest game of all tho having over 200 receiving on six catches. Overall these are great sliders from what i can tell and will continue to use them for now. BTW this game was a espn greatest game with a greatness score of 465. thanks

Re: <the_future420's Heisman Xbox Sliders>

I'm hoping that people are seeing decent numbers as far as the running game goes. In my last two games of ND vs USC I have seen realistice stats but the running totals have been a bit low. Penalties seem pretty good so far, but I may have to increase facemasking to 80. Thanks for the updates guys, I am trying to make the best heisman sliders possible

Re: <the_future420's Heisman Xbox Sliders>

I just got done playing Notre Dame in game 2 of my Penn St dynasty. I won 23-14. Only problem I had was I picked off the heisman trophy candidate 5 times. I really think the interception sliders need to come down. Someone else stated that this will mess with the awareness though. So, I don't know. Another thing, the Irish only ran the ball 6 times the whole game, any solutions to that?
