Countryboy's Heisman sliders (PS2)

Alright folks, for the first time in a while, I have decided to break down a come up with a slider set. I spent a great deal working on these sliders, testing them, using A+ teams vs D- teams, teams that were equal, and just about any other combination of different teams that I could come up with.

My thoughts on how the game played out of the box was that it seemed a little too, offensive oriented for my taste. I understand that teams are going to score in college football, but didn't really see a challenge in scoring. So without further ado, here are my sliders that I am going to be using for this year.

(Human is listed first/followed by Cpu)

QB Accuracy- 25%/30%
Pass Block - 50%/50%
WR Catch - 50%/50%
RB Ability - 50%/99%
Run Block - 50%/50%

Def Aware. - 50%/50%
Knockdowns - 99%/99%
Interceptions - 50%/50%
Break Block - 50%/50%
Tackling - 50%/50%

FG length - 50%/50%
FG accuracy - 25%/25%
Punt length - 50%/50%
Punt accuaracy - 30%/30%
Kickoff length - 50%/50%

All penalties are maxed out to 99% except for Unsportsmanlike Conduct which is at 30%

I play on Heisman.... with 10 minute quarters.

I find the game to be well balanced with these sliders.

Any and all feedback will be appreciated.

I will give these a try later tonight! I really havent found a solid set of sliders to play with. I find myself going back and forth between AA and Heisman.

Those look extremely tough Countryboy. You have the blocking on the lines at default - this alone would destroy me on Heisman. With defensive awareness for the CPU at 99%, I wouldn't complete a pass.

I was just thinkg the same thing myself. With those quarterback ratings I don't know if any passes would be completed in the game also.

You would be surprised at how much offense is still generated with these settings. They look impossible, but they aren't. Give them a try. I think you may be pleasantly surprised.

I've tried Heisman and my sliders were much more Rudy friendly and I still gave up. You must be an elite gamer. Maybe you could provide insight on to what you think needed tweaking and why. I'm always curious to read about matchups people have done and why they made changes.

Re: Countryboy's Heisman sliders (PS2)

My fault folks, the sliders I originally posted were incorrect. I was writing my slider settings down on paper so that I would remember what I liked and what I didn't and was jumping back and forth between AA and Heisman. Sorry.

The sliders settings posted on the first post of this thread are exactly as to what I am playing with now.

When I was playing on AA I changed the Def Awareness to 99%, but not on Heisman. That would be a little extreme.
