I really think you are on to something, I cant wait to get off work to try the ones you sent me. Any way I will write the feedback on here when I am done later on tonight...

Njkroc's updated NCAA 2007 sliders Coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay guys for awhile is was fooling around with setting the sliders to reflect the schools grade level for off an def. I liked how it played but after awhile it became to much changing the sliders every game. Plus if an off was an A+ but the running back was a 60ovr it didn't make sense to have the rb ability slider set to 90. So I went back to the drawing board.

basically I went to the player ratings an if you look ea always uses the 40-99 rating chart for players well the cpu doesn't really respond to 50% for any given slider if anything the cpu responds to 75 an higher meaning 99 that's why most of us either play on heisman or All American because there is a hidden ai boost of 75 and 100 on these levels. Funny thing though is the human played team can produce at any level really but we have a boost of 50%

Anyway I have just came up with a new set of sliders that keeps the user at the 50% range and the cpu at the 70% range. Most of the concerns I have read here have been addressed especially in the running game for both the cpu an us as well as cpu passing. Right now I am playing Florida st vs Miami(me) an the score is 7-7 with 2min left in the 2qt.

So here they are my updated NCAA 2007 sliders 8/15/06

Njkroc's updated NCAA 2007 sliders 8/15/06

Njkroc's Varsity Ncaa 2007 xbox360 sliders:

Level: Varsity ( I know what your saying but give it a try first it's all ratings)
Time: 8min ( I like 8 an it goes very fast may even try 15 for the hell of it)
penalties: all penalties are at 99

Human/Cpu

Offense
Qb acc: 0/70 (make sure you set your feet when you throw)
Pass blk: 50/45 (Don't hold that rock they will come)
Wr cth: 0/70
Rba: 50/45 (The comp will make you miss here trust me)
Run blk: 0/70 (Human run game toned down)

Defense
Awr: 0/70 (play recognition is more realistic)
Kd: 50/45 (along with awr the passing game is harder)
Int:0/70
Bblk: 50/45 (make sure you use line shift an different stunts)
Tak: 0/70 ( no more missed tackles an this also works with b-blk=pursuit)

This year the kicking game although easier is much more realistic an if you haven't see already the pwr an acc work together I have seen cpu misses as well as blocked kicks.

Special Teams
Fg length: 0/70 ( be smart if your kicker is weak then punt)
Fg acc: 50/45
P length: 0/70
P acc: 50/45
Kol: 0/70

There you go fellas sorry it took so long I've been very busy plus i wanted to be sure I wasn't posting some plain old garbage for you guys to try. The games play very good an the momentum is still the same but now I see more momentum shifts out of the cpu.

Give these a shot an please give some feedback, comments are always appreciated here.

As always peace for now.

Re: Njkroc's Xbox 360 Rating based NCAA 2007 Sliders

Texas - J.Charles 22 carries for 52 yards.
TTU - S.Woods - 15 - 34 yard (gave up on running after 3rd, had one carry went for 25 yards)

best Receiving

Texas - LSweed 3 for 51 yrds 1 TD
TTU - R.Johnson - 7 for 111 yrds 1 TD
TTU - G.Walker - 4 for 56 1 TD

Team stats

TTU-Texas
score 20-27
1st downs 16-11
total Off. 285-224
rush-yd-TD 18-72-0 - 28-70-0
comp-att-td 12-46-2 - 12-25-2
passing yd 213 - 154
3rd down conv. 4-14(28%) - 3-14(21%)

nobody went for it on 4th or 2pt. conv.

redzone-td-fg 4-2-1 (75%) - 1-0-1(100)
turnovers(all ints) 3 - 1
total yds 437 - 341
punts-ave. 7-41.1 - 8-40.8
penalties 6-60 - 2-10
sacks allowed 4 - 7

all-in-all, not bad of a game got a 999 ESPN instant classic.
i was pissed with ending though.
UT intercepted it on last play when i threw it up deep, and broke like 8 tackles and ran it back with no time on clock.

Texas scored last 17 points of, they got momentum with a FG and never looked back.
never could open up a run game, and passing was scary.
had about 12 passes that were no where near any person and all but 2 of them if i can recall i was in pocket, just bad throw.
luckly there was no one around.
the first 2 INTs i threw were bad choises and one was pushed wrong button and went to wrong WR.

but that was what i expected going against Texas. i though it was good.

i had one drive that was great.
lasted like 16 played and drove down 85 yards, only to end up with a FG after 2 straight sacks.

next game will play against either TCU or UTEP, both gave me trouble in my dynasty with the other sliders.

Edit: BTW that game was in Play now mode if it matters

Thanks for the feedback. So looking at what you have stated would you say the qb acc for the hum needs to be increased?

yes the qb slider needs an increase. The human defense needs a lil help also, b/c the back field gets burnt too much.

i think i will play some more games i was playing against Texas so that could be one factor.

Texas could have killed me, but i put alot of pressure on Texas by blitzing alot.
(didnt have much choice as i use ask corso feature all that game.)
the 4-2-5 Def. worked well against Texas, surprised me.

if QB Acc does need to be rised its not by much. i had a 50% completion against a strong Texas def. might be good, i will play against a mid-major team and see what results i get. probally UTEP, they have a good QB-RB combo, could be a challege.

I bumped the human qb up to 20 and it seems to work. the qb doesn't under throw alot.
