Yeah, me too. Some games you just battle for field position for most of the first half. There aren't a ton of big plays, alot of drives take up a few minutes of the 7 minute quarters. Pretty realistic.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman Sliders(PS2)

Another quick question..how many times does the computer usually run the ball? I find that if I don't alter their run/pass sliders under coach options that they never really carry the ball much. Is that just me?

Re: FistofRage's Heisman Sliders(PS2)

If the cpu can run the ball on you, they will with these. When I talked earlier about duke coming back to beat me. They ran the ball all over me. Boyette had something like 29 carries for 200+ yards. When I lost I just turned off my ps2 without saving due to my intense fustration with letting duke come back from 28-0. The next morning I fired the ps2 back up an played the same game and I shut down boyette early and Thaddeus Lewis was forced to pass. He didnt do to well as I won this game 39-3.

BTW Just beat FSU 14-13, blocking there xp attempt with a minute or so left.(I usually dont go for the block since its very easy but in this case....=)

The CPU will run on you with these. They usually average about 25 to 30 a game, and they will take it to the house if you are not careful. I did however go alter the run/pass% of each team in dynasty to reflect their real life run/pass% from last year as some of the teams were off. I would say that they had about 70% of the teams correct though when I checked.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman Sliders(PS2)

I don't know how you all are mustering any semblence of a running game with these sliders. I'm using Alabama in a dynasty and my starting LT is a 99 ovr w/ 96 STR and 97 RBK. My center has similar attributes and so does my RT. They all get MURDERED when i try to run behind them especially the center on counter plays. Snap ball, DT knocks my linemen on his butt, make tackle in backfield. Rinse and repeat. I'm not always running in obvious situations or out of just one or two formations. I mix the playcalling very well. I mix up my snap count. Against the Tennessee's and Georgia's okay yes maybe it should be difficult to run, but when this is happening against ULL Monroe i mean c'mon. The only reason i was able to score points in the season i just finished was because D.J. Hall is an animal (won Heisman, btw) and Keith Brown made clutch catches and plays for me complemented by the occasional pick 6 and Hall taking returns to the house.

I love all other aspects of the game with these sliders but my O-line shouldn't be getting pancaked 2 out of every three running plays. Do u think bumping the RBK slider to 45 will be too much and throw other things off?

The main thing upping the run block slider is going to throw off is the Kick return and punt return which is already too easy if you hit sprint right away. But you can try bumping it up and see if it helps your game.

The one thing you have to do is not hit the sprint button on running plays and let them develop a little more. The other thing is are you useing the slide blocking button before the snap? You have to make use of that or you will get murdered.

Re: FistofRage's Heisman Sliders(PS2)

Just had a pretty good game playing as Washington vs Washington State. 21-7 win, nothing outrageous, everything seemed solid.

Is there anything that lists what their correct run/pass% is so I can go in a correct it?

You can go to NCAA.ORG or here they are for last year through 10 weeks, that is what I use because I couldn't find the complete year.
