I don't know about everyone who is an NCAA fan, but 06 is now supported on the 360. I traded in the next-gen football crap a long time ago, but I'll pick up 06 for my football fix. Jistic had GREAT sliders for this game and it's sad that 06 with its flaws is still better in my mind then turnover happy 08. Now if only jistic can remember those sliders.....

If 08 bothers me some more on 360 I might try 06 again since it's only $4 at EB/Gamestop.
EDIT: So I ended up going and getting 06 today and I've been having a blast. The game is fun again, yet still challenging. I'm using Jistic's sliders and since I'm playing on original Xbox, I downloaded the last 06 rosters and simmed ahead two years to start a dynasty. I think I might enjoy 06 more than 04, it seems like 06 really was when it peaked.Last edited by Krebstar; 10-01-2007, 12:35 AM.Comment

I have no idea about widescreen. As for slowdown, I haven't experienced any although I'm playing on my original xbox, not my 360.Comment

IF anyone is up to it. Here is a link of how to convert xbox saves to 360- http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/11153/...s-on-Xbox-360/
Or if someone wants to enter the rosters- http://www.neoseeker.com/resourcelink.html?rlid=108373
Would be neat to be able to use those old rosters.Gamertag and PSN Name: RomanCaesarComment

Re: NCAA Football 06 on Xbox 360!
The update should dl automatically when you put in NCAA 06.
Are any of you playing this on the 360 now? The game plays very slow. It's like slow motion during the play, but everything else is fine. I've tried it on play now and dynasty and it's extremely slow. However, when I play practice mode it's fine.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 06 on Xbox 360!
The game looks absolutely gorgeous in widescreen 720p (yes, it does stretch to widescreen in BC mode). It's wonderful to have those exquisite camera options that the XBox version features, not to mention the professionally done "TV Broadcast" presentation for CPU Vs CPU games. The gameplay of the XBox version still kicks the 360 version in the butt, IMO. You can actually lob flair passes, and drop crossing route passes over the linebackers by putting some loft under the ball.
I'll try the Xbox version of 06 in 480p widescreen on my 360 in BC mode to see if that helps with the gamespeed... sort of have a hunch that it won't.Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Re: NCAA Football 06 on Xbox 360!
Back with a report... switching the res to 480p on the 360 doesn't do a thing to the gamespeed. It still feels like I'm playing underwater. It's a shame that this game can't flow at a decent speed - it looks fantastic at 720p (and suprisingly bad at 480p!). I guess I'll play the rest of my 2007 football on the XBox with NCAA 2006. The gameplay is fantastic!Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Re: NCAA Football 06 on Xbox 360!
I agree, the game is pretty much worthless on the 360. The gameplay is unacceptable due to the slowness of the game. At least I still have my original xbox to plug in.Comment
