Re: "0" Slider Settings?

I just gave these a shot and had a pretty nice game with them.
Arkansas(me)-20, Arkansas St-17.
It was 6-6 at the half, neither team getting much going. I finally got a TD late in the 3rd on a nice play-action pass to the back of the end zone.
They got a FG on the next drive to make it 13-9.
I scored on a time consuming drive on an 8 yard run to make it 20-9, then gave up a late TD and 2 pointer to make the final 20-17.
I thought using such a mismatch I would run away with the game but that wasn't the case. Very even throughout.
I didn't write down stats though, but I do remember nothing really jumped out at me. Very normal looking. I was pleased.
I will stick with the "Almost everything 0" theory for a little while and see how it goes.

Still too many INTs from what I'm reading. Why don't you set the knockdown sliders to 100?

Re: "0" Slider Settings?

the 0 slider setting is ABSOLUTELY the way to go, you have to handicap yourself in a few ways though, #1, choose the man to play on defense, and do not switch, #2 do not use the commit stick after the snap, EVER, this will ensure that the CPU is able to run the ball, even if you press the commit stick up, this will stop the run, weird, i know. I also like to choose the plays from the ASK Corso menu, i'm at half time right now with LSU leading me 7-3 and I'm USC. I beat Ohio State 17-13 last night. IF YOU LIKE DEFENSIVE BATTLES, GO WITH THESE SLIDERS.

Re: "0" Slider Settings?

Wow I just had the best game ever! I was USC vs Oregon and I won on a last second FG to win 13-10! They iced my kicker and this was the first time I had seen that, and let me tell you the FG was hard to make. This was the lowest scoring game I have had yet. I was down 7-3 at halftime, but my D stepped up. Oregon scored on there first drive with ease then I shut them down the rest of the game.

Total Offense
Oregon- 254
USC- 268

Oregon- 25 rushes for 89 yds
USC- 24 rushes 102 yds 1 TD

Oregon- 15 of 25 passing 165 yds 1 TD 1 INT
USC- 9 of 18 passing 166 yds 3 INT

Re: "0" Slider Settings?

Let the CPU control the defense. Just control your RB and QB.

I'm play cpu vs cpu so i control no one and the game is so much fun and realistic.
