I really like these. Best games I've had so far.

are the sliders simply psychosomatic? i don't get it...there are hundreds of posts here saying "use these sliders - they're the greatest..." and others saying that the sliders have no bearing.

i'm using claystone's "0 sliders" and they're fantastic...i just find all this comical...

If you boys are playing as D-Lineman and expect any sliders to help, they won't. I got news for you. You first must play with a LB/CB/Safety.

There's no way around it. Really

These sliders do work. But you still must possess some user skill. If you don't, the computer will still move the ball on you.

Only the cpu's sliders have no bearing, the human sliders are for both the cpu and human.

Re: Thumbs up NJPapi's Heisman Sliders V3.0 (Final Set Before Patch)

Just played my very first game of NCAA 09 (PS3). Got it in the mail today, loaded up these sliders, Lans rosters, and West Virginias stadium sounds and I was all set.

I should probably preface these stats by saying that this is my first NCAA game ever. I played my share of Madden over the years though.

Anyway, a regular "play now" game: Louisville at West Virginia. These were the stats.

Team Stats

Louisville West Virginia
Final Score: 60 47
First Downs: 17 23
Total Offense: 582 519
Rushing Yards: 316 146
Passing Yards: 266 373
Third Downs: 3-5 5-12
Turnovers: 2 2
PR Yards: 50 1
Punts-Avg: 1-44 2-43
Penalties: 0-0 1-10
T.O.P.: 12.49 19.15

Individual Stats

WVU

QB White: 24-39 (61% for 373 yds), 3 TDs, 2 INTs, 2 sacks
RB Devine: 106 yds on 21 att, 5,0 avg

LU

QB Cantwell: 16-18 (88% for 266 yds), 4 TDs, 1 INT, 0 sacks
RB Stripling: 249 yds on 24 att, 10,3 avg

Re: Thumbs up NJPapi's Heisman Sliders V3.0 (Final Set Before Patch)

Here's my take. The gameplay wasn't bad at all. My DB's got beat in the middle of the field by WR's all day long but that was a problem before. The break block might need tweaking. Every kickoff, my players were frozen like statues with the blockers and it made kick coverage even worse than before. Other than that, I was pretty pleased.
