Sportsfan, which version did you use? I think my originals were very low scoring from the sliders on page 1.

I actually was using mudtiger's sliders that were posted like a post above yours.

Now that I've switched to your latest ones...I was having a very good game against UCF...very close (team's have pretty much equal overalls) and more low scoring.

Then in the final quarter I got a dirty disc error. arrghh!

Re: 10 Games & 5 Sacks per game- How?

Alright just finished up UCLA (me) at USC and got crushed! The final score was 31-7, with my only touchdown coming from a fumble return where Johnson got hit as he was hurdling a player on the ground. The final score is a lot closer than it actually was. USC completely dominated me on both sides of the ball!

Stats
UCLA 00-00-00-07 7
USC 07-03-14-07 31

USC
Total Offense 456
Rushing 37-160 yds
Passing 28-38 296 yds
Turnovers 1 (fumble)

UCLA
Total Offense 153
Rushing 21-28 yds
Passing 17-27 125 yds
Turnovers 4 (2 fumbles, 2 ints)
USC
Passing
Sanchez 28-38 73% 296 yds 3 TD 0 ints
Rushing
Johnson 29-159 yds 5.4 ypc 1 TD
Receiving
Turner 6 rec. 72 yds 1 TD
McCoy 6 rec. 40 yds 0 TD

UCLA
Passing
Craft 17-27 62% 125 yds 0 TD 2 Ints
Rushing
Carter 15- 41 yds 2.7 ypc 0 TD
Receiving
Johnson 6 rec. 65 yds 0 TD
Everett 4 rec. 42 yds 0 TD

Overall a very good game. I knew I was extremely overmatched, so I just tried to manage the game and keep it close. Which is why the passing yards were so low. The only thing open was short little flare routes and USC's defense was so fast that there was very little RAC yardage. When I tried to stretch it downfield, the either picked it or batted it away. USC's defense is full of studs!!

My rushing game was doomed from the start. Bell had his ribs broken on the 2nd play of the game, so I was forced to use backups the rest of the way. USC defense probably put 6 of my offensive players out with injuries throughout the game, but Bell was the only one that couldn't return.

My only complaint is that the CPU didn't split the carries between USC's backs more. McKnight only carried the ball twice the whole game, for I believe 14 yds.

I've never had so much fun getting my a$$ handed to me as I did in this game!

Re: 10 Games & 5 Sacks per game- How?

So a couple of comments. I tried these settings, or slightly modified ones for two games. I don't have the exact numbers I used but they are around what the last two sets posted here were.

1. It's hard to find a happy medium with DEF AWR. This plays into how fast players react. I found with CPU AWR at 100, it was hard to run (especially the option) because the CPU players react to the play too fast. I found the same problem with HUM AWR. When I turned it down a bit, it became awfully easy to pass and both QBs completed passes at will. I am guessing I will need to turn AWR back up but also turn up RUN BLOCK which I haven't tried yet.

2. I am still not seeing a ton of pressure. Some but not a ton. I still have some more experimenting to do here.

3. Returning INTs/Punts and Kickoffs on both side of the ball is ridiculous at times. It's pretty easy to take a lot of returns to the house. This happeend more in the first game and not so much in the 2nd game, so might be fluke.

Otherwise, these are susprisingly good. Maybe the best I have seen so far.

Oh, I should note I was using Michigan (in a newly started dynasty) so my opponents were Utah and Miami OH.

I've read in a few different slider threads, that the sliders play differently in dynasty as opposed to a play now game. I can't confirm this because I've not started my dynasty yet; so all my testing has been in play now games. Have you, or anyone else, used the same sliders in a dynasty and play now game? Is there really a difference in how they play? If so, I may have to start a dynasty strictly for testing purposes.

MudTiger,

I used Roy38's test with our varsity sliders and may have broken the code. I am at work, but will post tonight. Please test the way they are as I want to see your results and if we get the same consistency.

Thanks

Re: 10 Games & 5 Sacks per game- How?

Just Got the patch and thought I would try these in my Mizzou Dynasty. I am in my second year so no Daniels etc. But since you guys haven't tested with a spread O yet i figures I would post.

I used 9 min Quarters asking Corso on both O and D

Ratings
Mizzou(Me) Off 86 Def 89 Ovr 88
@
Illini(CPU) Off 93 Def 90 Over 91

1 2 3 4 OT TOT
MU 14 10 7 7 38
ILL 0 3 3 7 14

MU
Tot 366
Rush 19-51-1
Pass 29-42-2 69% 315yd 3int
3-10 3rd downs
3 Turnovers all INT

B.Gabbert (85ovr) 29-42 315 2td 3int 2sack
D. Moore (84ovr) 11-55 (5.0) 15yd long
D. Washington(83ovr) 7-14 (2.0)
J.Maclin(97ovr) 7-113 1td

Illinois
Tot 441
Rush 48-111
pass 24-40-1 60% 330yd 4int
7-20 3rd downs
RED ZONE 5att 0TDS 2FGS
5 turnovers (4int)

Juice Williams 23-39 319 1td 4int 4sack
19car-43yds(2.2) long 17yd
M.LeShoure 24-93(3.8) long 15yd
A. Benn 8-119

Ok on the Picks ... For me I should of only thrown 2, but I am bad

Juice had 2 picks in the first quarter on on a jump ball in the endzone to Benn (user pick) and the other on a deflection (man Cov. Curl threw hands and my CB caught it)
On the other 2 were my linebackers in hook zones so i dont know about that.

The inabilty for the Computer to score in the redzone was evident.

Other than that the game seemed to play well despite the lop sided score... I'll play my next game and see if these things even out

I Scored 2 Def Tds also ... both legit though, One on a pick by my middle linebacker when i had them backed up to the 5, and the other on a sack, fumble, scoop score on the 20

Re: 10 Games & 5 Sacks per game- How?

I don't think the AI on Varsity is good enough for a spread offense so i think I'm gonna move back up

1st HALF Mizzou @ Ole Miss

All same as previous post

Passing stats :

28-36
425 yards
5 touchdowns
1 INT

I was asking Corso the whole time and i play a straight game

I just dont know about these for spread O users
