If RBA at 0 is working for you, m00d, I'd leave it there. Others who are trying your sliders and want to bump it up can do so.

I might try to get another game with these settings in tonight. Had a blast with the first game.

Here is how the stats you posted from your OD compare with the real-life stats so far this season:

MS State 3.5 YPC (2008 Actual: 3.2)
Buffalo 3.2 YPC (3.7)
Wake Forest 3.0 YPC (2.75)
TCU 5.6 YPC (4.48)
Colorado St. 3.7 YPC (3.65)
Houston 2.1 YPC (4.50)
UTEP 4.1 YPC (4.31)
Navy 3.8 YPC (5.4)
North Texas 4.8 YPC (4.34)
Toledo 4.3 YPC (4.36)
Baylor 3.2 YPC (4.62)

Source

Not too bad IMO, when you factor in the varying stick skill levels of each player.

Re: Not for the faint of heart Heisman sliders. (360)

Playing my first game with the slider set now.

I'm Texas Tech (89 OVR) playing @ Texas (94 OVR)

Score was 0-0 after the 1st quarter, but I got an 11yd TD pass on the first play of the 2nd quarter to go up 7-0.

Everything feels fine so far except that the RBA possibly could go to 10 or so. I'd also imagine that if I played with a slower team on defense I would be getting killed by these receivers.

Update: 14-3 Texas Tech at halftime. One INT and a fumble killed my quarter and led to their FG, but we're in control of the game.

Update: Michael Crabtree finally breaks out. 21-3 Texas Tech.

Update: Stupid throw in the red zone might lose me this game. INT taken back to the 50 by Texas. The reaction time by LB's on passes is amazing.

Update: I just saw the flukiest, craziest play ever. I throw to my WR across the middle who drops it and a CB intercepts the pass. The CB runs 4 yards and then fumbles on a hit, then their safety picks it up and hurdles my guy and just stops... then gets hit and fumbles for their LB to dive on it for Texas's ball.

Turnovers are killing me this game or I have a feeling this could have been a blowout.

21-6 Texas Tech after the 3rd qtr

Update: After stopping Texas on 3rd and goal, they go for it and McCoy drills a bullet between 3 defenders to a WR in the end zone. We stop the run on the 2pt conversion. Score is now 21-12 Texas Tech.

Update: Went into conservative mode on off/def to preserve lead, but seems it might have been too soon. Texas marches 80 yards on a long drive and the score is 21-19 with 1:05 remaining and Texas has all 3 timeouts.

Kicked a FG to ice it late. 24-19 final.

Nice... I'm not opposed to moving the RBA to 5 or 10... As you can tell I made some bold strokes with the sliders. I didn't test by fives... As long as the flats don't become money against the cpu along with stretches/pitches/sweeps/qb runs I'm good with it...
Gotta say I'm loving these defensive struggles I'm seeing from both you and Troy.

Up 14-3 now I see, you are in control...

Make that 21-6 early in the 4th...

New thought... Since these seem challenging, and I don't want to break that...
If I move RBA up by 5 I'll also move CPU QB ACC up by 5 to be fair to the cpu?

wow... 21-18... bound to be late in the 4th... watching via dasboard...

make that 21 to 19.... nail biter?

24-19... I little breathing room for Tech....

Game Summary

Texas Tech TE Adam James - 2 Rec, 17 Yds, 1 TD
Texas WR Quan Cosby - 4 Rec, 47 Yds, 1 TD
Texas WR Jordan Shipley - 4 Rec, 32 Yds

Texas Tech MLB Brian Duncan - 15 Tkl, 3 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 INT, 1 FF (can you say player of the game)

I've never ran so much with Texas Tech, but I decided to pick a more neutral playbook for the game instead of their normal spread offense. I'm sure I would have lost with 5 INT given their normal playbook and how ridiculous Sergio Kindle is at coverage across the middle. That along with my 2nd best WR getting hurt on a kickoff return is also the reason Crabtree got so many touches. He only had about 5 catches for 40 yds at halftime, but got 2 huge receptions (70yds and 50yds) that made his stats look ridiculous. Most of those yards came after the catch.

I only had about 10 carries midway through the 3rd quarter, but decided to get overly conservative and run the ball down the gut.

Good game. I still think RBA needs to be boosted for the run game to seem reasonable, but the game played well.

Wow what a great game! Thanks for the stats.

Ok, everyone feels RBA must increase, even guys who won the test game, so it needs to go up... The question is how much? Suggestions?

I do think I need to give the cpu the same number of points we raise the RBA by... Gotta be fair...lol

I don't know if Running Back Ability should be turned up. Try using the sliders with an Elite Running back and see how they work. I haven't seen anyone using these sliders with a Top Tier running back and reporting results. I fool around tomorrow with Beanie Wells and Knowshon Moreno in an Exhibition game with these sliders and see how they feel.

Also I am the new Troy guy and these sliders feel pretty good. The game will punish you for your mistakes. If you roll out of the pocket and try to rocket a ball 20 yards downfield on the run, you aren't going to be that accurate. My QB for Troy has 88 THP and 90 THA and I had to sit in the pocket and really time my throws well just like you would have to do in a football game. I wasn't able to just loft the ball up into the air and user catch it whenever I wanted. These sliders require "Smart Football" play.
