CPU/CPU Mode Sliders and Settings

For those of you who end up more interested in building a program than abusing the CPU's weak AI with stick skills every year.... here are my updated CPU/CPU mode sliders. I had zero success getting a playable CPU mode until I started my Off/Def Aggression slider testing last month. Since then, I found the CPU's aggression on the field during plays is controlled through those sliders. Testing has been done with Texas Tech, West Virginia, and Ohio State to get different playing styles and the stats are coming out somewhere in between real life stats and the stats from the sim engine. The game results usually end up scarily close to real life when using my modified DKrause sliders.

To make this work you will need to keep your school's Defensive Aggression at 0 at all times, then make the following changes each game:

1. Go to your opponent's coach strategy, then go to Defense.
2. Note down your opponent's Defensive Aggressiveness.
3. Change this slider to 0.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for Offensive Aggressiveness.
4. Play game with controller in middle of screen (no users)
5. After the game reset your opponent's Defensive Aggressiveness to the number from step #2.

Sounds a bit complicated, but it takes 30 seconds each game and I guarantee it's necessary to get this mode to work properly.

See post below for sliders...

Practically every year when I get NCAA, I end up rather bored with playing the CPU after a few months and get the feeling I have too much control and power (the feeling of losing once in a blue moon).

This mode is like super sim on steroids because you get to watch the action instead of just seeing text based play summaries. I do it for all games, not just FCS. FCS are actually the worst games to do this way because they are all blowouts unless you have a pretty bad team.

It's not for everybody, but there are usually a handful of hardcore NCAA dynasty mode players who do this every year.

360. Don't think it matters, but I guess I should have mentioned it.

Re: CPU/CPU Mode Sliders and Settings

but like that you cant call plays right?

that is just your team playing the other in CPU mode...so basically your dynasty is just recruiting and setting the depth chart right?
