JayD's Varsity Sliders based off AuburnAlumni's

I started with AuburnAlumni's varsity sliders and made a few tweaks and here is what i am using right now. Let me know what you guiys think.

Here are the scores so far in my UGA dynasty. I am getting some very close games and also blow outs when i should see them.

*I am using RomanCaesars rosters and HookemHorns most recent sim engine sliders from ncaastrategies.com

UGA 50 - (74) C. Michigan 21 (LeFavour was injured early in the 2nd quarter and didnt return til late in the 4th)

UGA 25 - (81) S. Carolina 17 (i got ran all over in this game)

UGA 34 - (77) Arizona St. 20

UGA 31 - (94) Alabama 13 (Coffee injured for game and Bama could not get the run game going)

UGA 27 - (79) Tennessee 17 (was tied 10-10 at half time and was down 13-17 starting the 4th quarter and a late td and interception return for a td gave me the win)

Just had a awesome dynasty game with #! UGA against #9 LSU where it was tied 23-23 at the end of regulation and went into triple overtime where i ended up losing on a pick by LSU. Moreno was stopped all day long and i had to rely on my pass offense and it didnt work out.

I wll give them a look. I've been using AA's sliders for a while now and like the way they play.

I have a couple of questions for ya:

1. Are you seeing a lot of INTs and pick-6's?

2. How's the pass rush?

3. Are there a lot of RB screens and QB choice (run) plays called by the CPU? I don't know if that's a varsity-level thing or not, but it drives me nuts when they call those plays over and over again.

4. Does the CPU ever throw a deep ball?

I will say that varsity, to me, has been the most playable level. You see more animations on this level than any other.

I have seen alot of human interceptions. I just finished a season with UGA and i had 22 total picks, which was best in the ncaa, and the closest team had 16 i believe. There are a pretty good amount of pick 6's but im not sure if i want to lower human awareness because at 25 my corners just stood there and watched the reciever catch the ball and at 30 they actually react to the play.

I get a good pass rush getting 4 or more sacks in some games or 1 or so in others. I'm happy where the sack numbers are at.

I also see the cpu running the screen play ALOT and usually for pretty big plays. I really dont see how i can change the computer play calling other than moving up to all american which i really don't want to do.

All in all i am liking the sliders, I went 10-3 in my first year UGA dynasty losing to Florida, LSU, and Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. The human interceptions are a bit high and I am going to try and see if i can get them down a bit.

PS, you probably are not going to see a huge difference in these sliders if your using AA's, i just tweaked a few things to my liking.

I like the feel of varsity but the only thing that I don't like is the CPU's playcalling logic. I just played Cincinnati and they ran the QB choice a good 5 times in my game. They threw 3-4 screens as well.

Guess it's just something you have to live with. I did see a nice sideline animation as my WR stretched out to catch a ball and made sure to drag his feet before falling out of bounds. When I was playing on All-American, I never saw any animation like that.
