Slimshoom's Heisman Sliders

Ive played over 100 games with a huge variety of teams, tried other peoples sliders, and have eventually tweaked them into my own custom set of sliders for NCAA Football 09. The base for these are Studios Squid's "Heiman 101" sliders, but there are several key differences, especially on the offensive side of the ball

Gameplay Options
Skill: Heisman
Injuries: On
Fatigue: On
Quarter Length: 7 Minutes
Play Clock: On
Home Field Effects: Off (personal preference)
Ice the Kicker: On
Quiz the Quarterback: Off

Penalties
I set all penalties to 0. There have been several debates on whether this actually effects gameplay or not, but I have found that penalties at 0 improve the game.

Custom AI
Offense
Human/CPU
QB Accuracy: 20/90
Pass Blocking: 40/30
WR Catching: 10/30
RB Ability: 50/100
Run Blocking: 70/100

Defense
Human/CPU
Awareness: 0/50
Knockdowns: 0/80
Interceptions: 0/0
Break Block: 40/50
Tackling: 40/30

Special Teams
Human/CPU
FG Power: 0/0
FG Accuracy: 20/20
Punt Power: 20/20
Punt Accuracy: 70/70
Kickoff Power: 60/60

Post any comments or questions you might have. Please post results if you try the sliders and enjoy them.

Going to give these a shot, they seem interesting. Thanks for the new set man.

by far the most unique set ive seen...

interested to try it because I am a huge fan of the zero penalty thing... I agree it makes it better and wish more people would have jumped on that bandwagon...

Re: Slimshoom's Heisman Sliders

Gave these a shot last night and they were very good. Too many INTs but I think it was some poor decision making on my behalf. To be honest, I didn't play with penalties at 0 but I'll give it another go. So far, I've tweaked a little bit here and there but nothing big. A very enjoyable set. I'll probably start a new dynasty with these today. My first game was UNC (me) vs. Razorbacks. They beat me 27-10 but despite the score there were two big stories to this game. 1. My offence couldn't get anything going. 2. I've never had so much fun playing defence in this game. Even though they put up 27 in the end, we dominated them and most of their points came in the fourth quarter after my D was exahusted. I never felt like this game was out of reach.

yea the interceptions are still a problem but I dont think there is a way to fix that in this game. However, good decision making on your part can significantly cut down YOUR interception totals.

Re: Slimshoom's Heisman Sliders

personally, i have a set i use (never posted) but to tame down the int's i set both cpu and human int at 0 and knockdowns for both at 100.

Re: Slimshoom's Heisman Sliders

These sliders look really really good. I'm going to try them out in my Ohio State Dynasty. I'm in year 4. Just beat #4 USC 28-24 came back from 10 points down in 4th quarter with 3 min left on a different slider set and they were young j's sliders. I will try these. I am @ LSU next so I will give them a try.
