Updated set. Really liking these. Games against cupcakes play out the right way. Better teams are a challenge and can still put a whooping on you if you don't play smart.

7 min. All-American. Super-sim all special teams.

Re: Coach mode sliders?

I'm using Spin's sliders set up based on team ratings with a scale that I modified. Check out pages 25-27 of that thread, it's on the 1st page, to see my game results for the 1st six games of my North Texas dynasty. My scale is on page 25.

Nolefan,

You should give Playmakers' sliders on varsity level a try in coach mode. I just had a very interesting game with some alumni teams billysims is putting together.

I'd considered it but I'm sure those were set for those that control all of the action on the field. I may try an exhibition game or 2 but I'm 6 games (4-2) deep into my North Texas dynasty using Spin's sliders and I'm loving EVERY minute of it.

Re: Coach mode sliders?

They are for those who control everything. I tried them for coach mode. Played using billysims alumni teams Miami vs. Nebrasksa in the snow. I only called plays, snapped the ball, and sat back and watched. Occasionally I would call an audible for Nebraska.

Miami was up 28-17 in the 4th. They won 28-24. Nebraska played a typical old style Nebraska game. Ground it out with hb Jeff Kinney and a big play from Johnny Rogers. QB Jerry Tagge played like remember.

Playmakers has not played coach mode. I am just interested in some other opinions.
