Re: Varsity Slider Project, slthree

Just edited the first post with updated sliders

I'm getting the most realistic, intense games I can get.

I have played more games than I can count and tested with every team combination I could.

Cmon guys, if you even suspect your getting cheated on AA, give these a try.

Can't believe I didn't post these. Sorry

I've been so obsessive about getting the offense and defense down

When I'm given permission by the boss (wife) to fire up my PS3 again, I'll post those.

I'm currently in the process of straightening out for company. The bright light at the end of the tunnel is that I'll be playing the game when my buddy gets here as the women are going shopping before dinner

These are really close to what I've been using. I can't believe how well Varsity plays this year. I think I've won 2 out of my last 8 games. Slight differences everywhere but the big ones are my HUM pass rush isn't as powerful and my HUM and CPU pass coverage is lowered.

Oh yeah, I agree with you. I love Varsity and everything right now feels great. I haven't even thought about the Madden demo and nore importantly, I haven't played APF or Infamous since I got this. That says it all.

Tell me about the results your getting with those differences.

User Pass Rush I test with no blitzing at all. I did lower it many times but found that the elite teams were not getting pressure on other elite teams. I don't expect an elite team to get 4 or 5 sacks against another elite team but I did want to see at least 2 sacks and a few pressures.

The reason I don't think its too high is that when I labbed average teams against elite teams, the only time I got close to a sack was on slip screens (the entire o-line leaves) or with blitzes. But, I can look closer at it

Pass Coverage I have labbed this to death. The reason I have pass coverage a little higher than what you have is that when I lowered it I saw robo qb and, more importantly I noticed a tendency for the CPU to pass way more. I guess, because they felt it was the easier route to moving the ball.

As far as the CPU coverage, I wanted it high enough to keep me from sticking the ball in every open space. Right now, I can sometimes thread the needle and sometimes not. The cpu DB can sometimes lock me down man to man and sometimes not.

As far as user coverage, I am getting picked apart by elite QB's and average QB's do OK. Even with it as it is (higher than yours) I had back to back games where elite QB's torched me. Bradford went close to, if not, 70% on me when I played as UCF and NC State's QB went off in the high 60's.

With my 3 sliders, the ones that are different from yours, did you dominate too much? You may be better than me at generating pressure and play calling.

Re: Varsity Slider Project, slthree

So my first game with these I played as Oklahoma on the road against Colorado.

I won 44-7, and their only touchdown was defensive. Although I guess this score was expected with the matchup, lol.

Bradford was 23-29, 312 yards, and 3 TD's , 0 INTs.
Cody Hawkins for CU was a paltry 10-22, 68 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT lol.
