Thanks Gomer. I have some questions I’d like to get your input on:
1) Have you tried playing coach mode on Heisman? If so, how does it compare to all-American?
2) How is the cpu game management with these sliders? For example, do they go for it on fourth downs when the should, try field goals when they should or when they are ahead, do they try and run out the clock?
3) Do the RB’s cut up in to the hole, or always try and bounce it outside?
4) Does the QB throw it up field, or just try and ‘dink and dunk’ with short passes?
5) Do you get a reasonable number of INT’s?
6) How’s the opponent’s running game with these sliders?
7) Do screen passes and draws work?
8) Do you get a reasonable number of sacks, and not too many TFL’s?
9) Do you get a reasonable number and good variety of penalties?
10) Why are KR/PR interference and RTP sliders set at 1 and RTK set at 10?
As an FYI, I’d still be interested in getting some screen shots of game stats if you get a chance. Looking forward to your response. Thanks!

I've updated the sliders to get the CPU offense a bigger boost.
1. Yes and I felt like the CPU cheated to win too many times.
2. The CPU game management isn't very good at the end of games if they need to score. In general, the play calling by the CPU is bad but, I've tried to account for that with these sliders by giving them advantages so some bad play calls still work. They will go for it on fourth down when needed. I just had them run a fake punt on me when testing the new version of the sliders. They punt when they should. It's not perfect and it's done better in games like NFL 2K5.
3. The RB's do tend to want to stay outside on runs that are meant to be outside runs but, the high RB Ability slider mitigates this as much as possible and you will see them cut upfield. There are some plays, like sweeps, that rarely work.
4. QB's throw it all over the field and will burn you deep if it's open.
5. I think so. If you don't, just up the Interceptions slider until you're happy.
6. Pretty good with this set. RB's only use cuts and stiff arms so that's something I've accounted for with these.
7. Yes.
8. Yes on the sacks. TFL's tend to happen in this game a bit more than other football games I think. This is in part due to the lack of special moves being used. High RB Ability helps to mitigate this by breaking some tackles.
9. Penalties don't happen that often other than False Starts but, I don't see any way to fix that. 4-5 per game between teams usually.
10. I honestly don't know. I kept them that way after trying a bunch of other slider sets from other people. That seemed to be the most common setting so I left it. Be careful altering penalty sliders because my understanding is that they effect gameplay. I've kept them the same for a long time now to develop this slider set. Otherwise I would be fiddling with stuff forever.
I'll see if I can get some stats when I play my next game. I'm going to try these new slider adjustments with some good, fairly even teams and see how it goes. I played a half with Oklahoma at home and me visiting with Wake Forest and was down 24-7 at the half when I had to quit.
