Pass Rush in 09

Is there a slider that affects pass rush in 09. I Know it is not called pass rush but what other sliders help. Not so much for the human but for the comp rush as basically i am getting about 10 secs to throw each and every time even against the top teams.
Is there a fix or was the pass rush just broken in this version.

Re: Pass Rush in 09

There is no pass rush slider in 09 on defense. It's the break block slider and that affects the DL in terms of both breaking blocks vs. the run AND rushing the passer.

If you want to tone down your pass blocking, you can do two things. Just drop human pass block down. And you can also increase the cpu break block. But if you increase cpu break block, you will find your run blocking will decrease and you might have to bump up human run blocking to match up to it.

Always compare the relative strenths of pass block and run block vs. the corresponding break block. If you have human pass block at 25, human run block at 50 and cpu break block at 75, this basically says you've give the cpu a 50 point advantage in pass rush and a 25 point advantage in breaking blocks vs. the run. It would be the exact same thing as having human pass block at 0, human run block at 25 and cpu break block at 50.

I hope that helps. Just remember that the sliders in 09 are really watered down. You have to move them a lot to see the effect and unfortunately, they don't work as well as most of us would have liked.
