Straight up blasted them.....had an answer for everything they threw at me...cant say the same for them..lol

They did take away my running game for most of the game....they were living in my backfield for a while....but I burnt them with big pass plays

Capitalized on a muffed punt and went into the half leading 17-0 on a nice 27 yard screen play

They moved the ball a couple of times but missed field goals...their no huddle O never got into a true rhythm though

I think I found another big discovery regarding user rushing


the gist of it is that User RBK means way more then the actual CPU Rush D

Im going to try and post a youtube vid....and probably come up with some new rushing settings en light of this new info

Now pay attention to my C vs DT of Wisconsin.....with the sliders at 40 RBK to 30 Cpu Rush D......the DT does that blow by animation almost instantly and is right after Devine immediately

This has been the cause of my frustration with the Option game for some time

After a while I switch the setting to 55 RBK to 100 CPU rush D..........and surprisingly the C vs DT battle is better for the user


Im a little worried that the 55 to 100 will be too easy for me though(Especially when I play with my Pro Style Teams)....so right now Im going to test 45 to 35 for a while. This setting seems to have delayed the DTs enough to take the "cheapness" out of it....but the Wr and TEs don't have the same type of strength that they do with the 55 to 100 was displaying

^^If anybody wants to try the 55 to 100 and see if it gets too easy, have at it...I'll eventually try it out

In General I think we've learned to never drop the User Run Block below 45 on Heisman

Wow, this became my #1 instant classic.....Brutal D by both teams and fumbles that lead to a roller coaster type ride toward the end

Had a good opening drive and moved the ball into the redzone...but Caper fumbled and they recovered...Not a good day rushing for him or Baker who used a little more because of his speed

Still we went in Nodded up at 7 at the Half

My running game continued to get beaten down...luckily Cousins came to play and made some big passes to sustain some drives a little longer to help keep the field position even

But even with their star rb injured in the 1st they started to flex their muscles toward the end..They pouded the rock for a long drive that took up most of the 4th...got inside my 20....I was reeling, but my D came up big and stripped em.....

My O wasn't on the field very long though...I manged to get it out to around the 37 before I fumbled yet again

My D had to bail me out once again and they forced them out of FG range with a nice zone blitz

So I get the ball back with bout 1:47 left...hoping to at least drive and get a tie...but I got more then.....connected with Dell on a nice crossing pattern right before Cousins got hit for a big time 58 yard TD

My D shut down their last desperate attempt and I got the hard fought victory

Lol at my rushing yards....thats the 1st time Ive ever been shut down that bad....hope this is just an anomaly....I want small schools to have to struggle to run the ball but geesh

As for the rest of the game, Coffman was deadly....plus they had their ground and pound going too.

Wouldn't have been close if they didn't cough the ball up a couple of times

Ok Im all out of ideas about how to make the Option Read and Pro Style co exist.....its really kicking my a**


Maybe after a Tuner set is released by EA for download, we can do something to make it better

Heres what I think the best settings are given what we have...of course people have different skill levels, so tune up or down you if you like....but this what I feel is the best base

50 User Run Block to 35 CPU Rush D
User RBA at 45
CPU Takling at 50

Hopefully the D still provides a good challenge to pro style Os over the long haul
