Does Normal change the speed between plays or just the speed of the action? If its the action its probably not a big deal, but one thing that has bothered me about recent EA games (Madden and NCAA) is the too fast interval between plays. Instant replays help with the flow, but when the game comes down a game winning field goal you blink and its over. Once again this is in the game for the kids with ADHD I guess, but us older guys like to have the interval to match real games. I dont think we will ever see it again though, unless of course we make our own game just for cpu vs cpu players.

One thing I have noticed as claystone mentions is the HB's tend to not have many carries past 15 yards if any at all. Considering that maybe Normal is the only way to go.
I'm having a game just for testing Syracus vs Colorado. I'm in the 4th quarter and

Colorado's HB has 24 carries for 158yds 6.5avg.
Syracus's HB has 14 carries for 53yds 3.7

This game is played on "Normal Speed". I'm seeing more runs that have some 15yd breakaways.

Zwief, the reason why I don't raise the Run Blocking is because it makes olineman to powerful. I've played a game with Alabama'a oline, which are rated 90, and they plowed big holes without any adjustments to the Run Block.

It just seems the developers set this game to play on their default settings, which is Varsity, Normal Speed, 50 Speed Threshold, Default sliders. I'm almost done with this Syracus game. I'll show you the results.

EDIT: Another thing that hurts the running game is the HB Glitch.

NOTE: Look at the running game. Both HB did well in this game. I'm not saying these sliders are it, but i'm seeing a lot better running game on Normal Speed.

Do you have actual sliders? I mean full set?

Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders

Interesting observations Claystone, very much so. It's all subjective isn't it...I don't think we'll ever find the 'sim' sliders we're looking for (we never do) but I think between us all we may come up with something that gives us realistic stats from watching games.

I've tried another game, this time using a pass heavy team...see what you think.

Iowa 35 @ Texas Tech 28

TTU:
Passing:
Potts 28/39 332yds 1td 1int 0 sacks
Sheffield 13/20 146yds 1td 1int 2 sacks

Rushing:
Batch 10/37yds

Iowa:
Passing:
Stanzi 18/31 331yds 2tds 2ints 4 sacks

Rushing:
Robinson 18/100
Hampton 7/89

Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders

Here's one I only played until half time as I had to go out:

Alabama 41 @ Oaklahoma State 0 It was a turnover fest for OKST...1 fumble recovery for a td, 2 ints returned for tds...was a half right off the scale! (5 turnovers in the 1st half, 3 fumbles, 2ints)

OKST:
Passing:
Weeden 4/13 60yds 2int 1 sack

Rushing:
Hunter 7/22yds

ALA:
Passing:
Mcelroy: 14/23 169ys

Rushing:
Ingram 17/87yds 2tds

Suppose it shows the strength of the Alabama defence, more tests to come later today to see if this was a one off or something more alarming.

Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders

Going to go back upto 70 for RBA, the above two games were at 60...to me the option teams struggle to run on 60 and need it at least 70.
