I have tried this too. I always think i have it perfect, then something happens. I decided to test it out and play with the sliders for TCU at Boise St.

It was Boise St 34 TCU 13 going in to the 4th... this is where it fell apart.
Titus Young (14 rec, 254 yds for Boise) randomly disappeared, Jeremy Kerley (7 rec 162 yd, 1TD, a 103 yd KO return TD, and put return TD), disappeared when he caught fire and started to bring me back (I switched teams, going for the challenge of a comeback),QB Kellen Moore got injured, QB Andy Dalton just disappeared, Boise State's Avery disappeared, and some random players started showing up on defense: some OL were playing DL, backup runningback at LOLB, K/P Kyle Brotzman returning punts, backup QB's at safety and CB. It was the most f'd up thing I'd ever witnessed...

Re: full 15min quarters

You would need to play on Very Slow game speed and not run a No-Huddle offense to get statistics and plays per game comparable to the Sim Engine with 15 minute quarters.
