Re: IBO's All-American Sliders

Version 1.6.1
Kentucy (CPU) @ Tennessee (User)

End of Game

Score : 10 - 13
Total Yards : 227 - 234
Passing : 11-20-0 -- 13-28-0
Rushing : 28-89-1 - 33-71-0
Turnovers : 0 - 2(fumbles)
TOP : 19:57 - 24:38

RECAP : Big defensive battle, nothing really ever got going. Their one TD came from a fumble recovery taken back to my 14 yard line. Im going to make some quick changes to 1.7 and head off to work. So it will be later before I can play 1.7. If you test that version out post your thoughts and stats and when I get off I'll make 1.8. Thanks to everyone helping out.

56-0 at halftime is insane....not sure what the answer will be for no huddle teams. I would consider knocking the quarter length down at least 2 minutes if you plan on only using no huddle spread. Then you will probably end up with 500 yards for the total game, instead of just in the first half.

Yea, tommorrow after work, I am going to do a No-huddle spread vs Pro or multiple and post stats, then play no-huddle spread vs NH Spread. See if I can't make 2 slider sets, One for no-huddle team games, then games where you aren't versing No-huddle teams. I am in wk 3 of my Arkansas State dynasty waiting on rosters, *i havnt tried these sliders on it* but Auburn and UL Lafayette, both ran almost 90% no-huddle the whole game, and I am on 6 minute quarters there, and I just was not happy how much the no-huddle is being ran. it's like its being over-used, even when their players get tired they dont sub, they just keep running no-huddle

Re: IBO's All-American Sliders

played a game

Miami(Me)-13 Gt(cpu)-10
First downs 15-13
Total Offense 333-215
Rushes-Yards-td 31-112-1/37-97-0
Comp-Att-Td 21-35-0/ 5-17-1
Passing yards 221-118
3rd down 5-15 6-17

Got to the redzone 4 times lost 2 fumlbles in the red zone scored a Fg and td Gt didnt touch the redzone T.O.P. was 23:40 and 21:20

Overall good sliders defensive game. Shut down Gt option which im normally not bad at defending. My offense was moving the ball nicely stalled on a few drives. I also had 2 sacks Gt had 1.

Re: IBO's All-American Sliders

Version 1.6

This was my first game with No Huddle teams. Also my first time with these sliders. Im Houston.

Houston 87 - Rice 0

Total Offense: 607 - 404
First Downs: 18 - 19
Rushing:
Houston: 25 carries - 170 yards - 3 TD
Rice: 29 carries - (-34) yards - 0 TD
Passing Yards: 437 - 438
Turnovers: 0 - 6 (4 picks, 2 fumbles)
T.O.P. 18:35 to 20:47
Penalties: 3 - 5
Sacks: 7 - 2

Houston Player Stats:
Case Keenum 24/36 437 yards 7 touchdowns 0 interceptions
Bryce Beall 18 carries for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns (6.9 per carry)

Rice Player Stats:
Nick Fanuzzi 30/50 388 yards 4 interceptions

Analysis: I know the score looks really off, but I dont think we have as much of a problem as it might seem. Offensive numbers look pretty realistic for both teams actually, as Houston may be the best offense in college football (plus Rice's D is no powerhouse). Rice missed the two fairly easy field goals they took. Rice's QB made the interceptions easy by lobbing the ball when he probably shouldn't have.

Suggestion: I think this could be solved by raising the threshold. I couls score on a streak route almost any time I wanted, simply because my receiver's speed was a point or two higher than the corner's. A threshold of at least 50 or maybe higher would really reduce the scoring plays. Increase CPU pass block or reduce human pass rush slightly. Something may need to be done for CPU rushing as well.

*These were for 9 minute quarters, but Im finding I get a more realistic number of plays on 10.

Re: IBO's All-American Sliders

I played with the 1.6v sliders and here were my results:

Mich(cpu) vs. ND (me)

Score: 48-55
First Downs: 22-16
Total Offense: 492-437
Rush Yards: 150(40)-16(-5)
Pass Yards: 342(29-49)-442(32-56)
3rd Down: 50%(10-20)-56%(9-16)
Turnovers: 2-4
Fumbles Lost: 1-1
INT: 1-3
KR Yards: 144-280(1 TD)
Total Yards: 652-736
Penalties: 4(55 yds.)- 2(30)
TOP: 19:30-19:33

Pros:

- CPU running game was awesome, except while running the option
- Good challenging game
- Run defense was tough

Cons:

- Run defense was ridiculous!!! Michigan has two D-lineman who are star players
- Tipped passes for INTs are annoying
- Their no-huddle is damn near impossible to stop...

Re: IBO's All-American Sliders

From looking at some of the other threads, Ive kinda figured out how the speed threshold affect the game. A higher threshold makes the game closer. When the threshold is low, the better team dominates. I think it needs to be at least 50.

I thought it was to make speed more dominant in the game?
