Can anyone elaborate for me?

The lower the numbers the more separation between fast an slow players. In theory it should make for a more reaistix game (speed guys pulling away from slower defenders, chasing slower guys down) however due to the games design it has been found trough extensive resting THat zero sliders will cause Manu cheap, big plays resulting in unrealistic stats and outcomes like the frequent long ball bug where wr's always get behind coverage and r wide open. It's different every year... This year 25-40 is te sweet spot. If y want the tightest coverages and closest games go with40.

I think the zero based sliders are done in order to let ratings get the spotlight. From my time with Matt10's sliders you can see more clearly the difference between a Brandon Weeden and Zac Collaros than on the default settings. For example, on a wide open slant on zero based settings Weeden will deliver a ball that puts his receiver in a good position to turn up field and gain yardage after the catch. While Collaros will also do this, there might be times he misses the receiver or throws it behind or ahead of him slightly thus limiting the receiver's ability to turn up field. From my experience, although I could be wrong it puts a premium on ratings as Star players will stand out more.

Nothing scientific, just adjustments to HUM or CPU game sliders to 0.

It's all about your perception and what feels right for you.

You'll find someone willing to take a stab at making it all Scientific and all, but it's really no different than any other Slider testing year.

Some say it plays better at this setting, others will say it's better to them set at a different level.

Example:
I like playing on Varsity (not because of my stick skills) on "SLOW" Speed because my Perspective is that it's more fluid on this level with less +/- CPU boost and these 0 settings allow me to have the same type of challenge I've had on AA and Heisman minus the Gimmicky issues many are noting at these levels.

Try them out and adjust to what's right for you.

Again, no need to try and get all deep with it.
It's just another Slider adjustment.

**Note**
These settings really come to life with a Re-Rated Roster vs Default.

We have tested for over 100 hours since release. Only way to eliminate bs plays is to keep threshold high. Otherwise any player with 90+ speed will blow defenses away. It eliminates the verts isssies too

Not really seeing this, actually with 0 threshold I haven't even sniffed the endzone on a kick return yet in my last game I forgot I had it at 40 and returned two kick offs and on one I got tackled inside the ten.

So I like 0 more than close to base.

i just lowered mine to 25, seems like it's opened up the passing just a tad bit for me.
