WOW! And I thought I was nerdy. I did the same thing at work one night. Good Job. Does it affect the recent coaching changes?

Re: Coaching sliders work!!! Huge impact

Those do not reflect coaching changes just stats for last year. Just copied the stats from the ncaa website plugged them into an excel spreadsheet and let the computer do all the calculations. Last year it was basically the same thing when adjusting the slider just put the number near the run % and that would get you very close to the correct run/pass ratio for a full year of simmed stats. I think it is interesting that the sliders affect actual game play because Adam told me last year the only affected sim stats but it is great they added this.

By the way I also noticed when playing teams with 60 + defensive aggression they blitz all of the time.

So would something like this work for customizing team sliders?

15-25 = Low Aggression
30-40 = Average Aggression
45-55 = High Aggression

Re: Coaching sliders work!!! Huge impact

I found out that 15 is the lowest possible setting for Defensive Playcall Aggressive Style.

Here are my modified Defensive Playcall Aggressive Style sliders based on the following logic:

1. Defensive aggression determined by turnovers forced, sacks, and TFL's (percentage based on comparison to data set, then normalized to 0-50 scale)
2. High aggression teams with defenses in the top 20% lowered by 10 points (defensive talent played a larger role than play calling).
3. Highest aggression setting will be 55 for simulation play calling. (15 = lowest, 30-35 = average, 50-55 = highest)

If anyone knows personally of a team that plays aggressively or conservatively on defense that has a rating suggesting otherwise, then post it here.

Yes you can change all these in a dynasty, under coaching philosophy or something. I'm completely sure where you can edit the CPU coaching sliders but, its not hard to find. Like I said under coaching philosophy or something in that same tab of the menus I believe.

Re: Coaching sliders work!!! Huge impact

As for the play calling aggression slider and defensive aggression slider me and a friend suspect that they also may have something to do with the CPU's use of the "gameplan" feature.

Also the offensive play calling aggression slider I believe has to do with their situational play calling. For instance, a team with said slider set to say 25 may not try to convert that 3rd and long with a pass play and settle for that extra 5 yards rather than maybe risking a turnover trying to convert.

Any other thoughts on this? It seems to hold true with the teambuilder conference I created.
