Gameplay and Penalty Sliders

I wonder if penalties affect game play. The reason why I ask is because most of my games have been high scores or in the 20's range. But for the first time i had a low scoring game in my Dynasty. I set all Penalty sliders to 55, which had a reasonable amount of penalties for that game.

Here are the game stats. I play CPU vs CPU.

WEEK 8 (2ND Year)

San Diego: 14 - New Mexico: 6

San Diego Passing:
QB #12: 11 FOR 24 / 141yds / 2 TD / 0 INT / 45% Comp (INJURED)
QB #11: 6 FOR 15 / 38yds / 0 TD / 1 INT / 40% Comp

UNM Passing:
QB #10: 16 FOR 38 / 200yds / 0 TD / 2 INT / 42% Comp
__________________________________________________ ____________
San Diego Rushing:
HB #25: 26 Carries for 79yds / 0 TD / 3.0 Avg.

UNM Rushing:
HB #1: 20 Carries for 92yds / 0 TD / 4.6 Avg.
__________________________________________________ ____________
San Diego Defense:
Sacks: 3
INT: 2

UNM Defense:
Sacks: 1
INT: 1

NOTE: In this game i change all penalty sliders to 55. This is the first time i had such a low scoring game. I wonder if the penalties settings has anything to do with it.

Penalty SDSU:
Holding: 1
False Start: 1

Penalty UNM:
Holding: 3
Facemask: 1
False Start: 1

As you can see, the penalties in this game were not that bad. I'll keep tabs on penalties in my upcoming games.

Re: Gameplay and Penalty Sliders

Whatever you do, don't set your facemask penalty slider to 70. I noticed it not being called, so I raised it to 70...now in one quarter, the other team (a bad team, Vandy, if it is a factor at all) has committed I think seven face masks already. And there have been other obvious face masks that weren't even called xD

What the hell!

Re: Gameplay and Penalty Sliders

would be curious to see more feedback on this... I wonder if it's some hidden glitch.

I'm using PlayMaker's sliders, and all of the penalties are set at 100, with the exception of facemask, holding and clipping - which are all set at 55.

I've only had 1 pass interference call (on the cpu)...

Also, the CPU gets called for NUMEROUS penalties, but I rarely get called for any. Most I've had against me in any one game is three. I play 8 minute quarters.

Thanks for the feedback here!

Clay's seem to be the way to go.I've had as many as five called against me,but definately it seems the computer generally gets called for more.
