Re: SECElite's Post Patch Sliders Please Try!

Played one game with this slider set.

Uconn (me) at Michigan

I had 243 yards rushing in the first half and the score was 31-3 at the end of the first half.

I shut the game off

Hmmm.. sorry you had a bad experience. This is why I posted this set as a base set. Can you tell me how you were getting all of your yardage. Were all of your points scored on the ground? Were you running to the inside or outside? Did you see suction blocking? What were your likes and dislikes?

JT30, I think you need to play on Heisman.

No, you played half a game with this slider set.

Re: SECElite's Post Patch Sliders Please Try!

Sad to say, I didn't get a whole lot of useful information from JT's post. I haven't done a whole lot of work with the run related sliders but based on his post and my own opinions of the results of some other posted stats from games, the CPU as well as human running games may be a little overpowered. I will work on this weekend as most of the time spent with these, was balancing the pass rush.

If you turn the RB ability too low, he will run slow like he's in quicksand. I would recommend only going down to 35-40 and tweaking the run block down a bit.

I also played on Heisman. Other adjustments that I made were taking the cpu pass rush down to 25 since I was on Heisman. I didn't really notice a difference though. I also didn't get much pressure on the cpu when they were passing. I'll look into it more and try to help where I can.

The team I played against was called FCS. I don't recognize that school but I'd hate to be their football team in real life. I don't think they're going anywhere this year.

Yeah, I was thinking that. My first thought is that at 40, there still may be too much suction blocking. I probably wouldn't bring the RBA down any as it feels pretty good at 40. I will see what it feels like at 35. So you played on Heisman? What have you noticed about heisman? Would it be better for me to start tweaking this set for heisman instead of All-American?

Your RBA is not at 40. You posted it at 45. 40 should be fine. I'm testing now. Heisman makes everyone more aware from what i see. I'm testing turning the Hum run blocking to 30 and running at 40.
