Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

After playing 2 weeks of year 2 of the online dynasty, both user rushing yards per carry and passing yards per completion seem high, especially in the passing area. My plan is to upgrade cpu Rush D by 1 and lower human wr catching by 1. If I see decent results, I will keep it but I'm guessing that I'll have to bump up cpu rush D again to 70. I don't want to change too much right away though.

The updated sliders will be like this.

Category User CPU
QB Accuracy 30 40
Pass Block 50 50
WR Catching 50 50
RB Ability 50 60
Run Blocking 50 70
Pass Coverage 50 60
Pass Rush 50 55
Interceptions 30 35
Rush D 35 65
Tackling 45 50
FG Power 35 35
FG Accuracy 35 55
Punt Power 50 50
Punt Accuracy 50 75
KO Power 45 45

Also I'm dropping CPU accuracy to 35. CPU completion percentages were higher than the NCAA averages and needed to come down.

Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

My online dynasty is currently in season 2. After some slider tweaking I believe the settings are set. The results/stats of the dynasty can be tracked via the googledoc at the bottom of the post. Here are the current averages for the CPU against users compared to real-life NCAA averages in the 2009 season.

-CPU YPC 4.291 yardspercarry
2009 NCAA Avg 4.23 ypc

-CPU Comp 61.69% 13.976 ypcomp 8.622 ypattempt
2009 NCAA Avg 59.05% 12.138 ypcomp 7.168 ypattempt

As you can see, cpu yards per carry are spot on, and passing is a little high. The user teams being used are mostly top 25 teams which often causes the cpu to come from behind and throw more. No complaints here.

User Averages.
-User Rush Avg 5.953 ypcarry
2009 NCAA Avg 4.23 ypcarry

-User Pass avg 56.66% 16.242 ypcomp 9.203 ypattempt
2009 NCAA Avg 59.05% 12.138 ypcomp 7.168 ypattempt

Here user rushing is a little high. This is a result from the first few weeks of the season starting right after the final patch was released. The user run sliders were off and have been tweaked since. The past 3 weeks, the rushing ypc have been 5.42ypc, 4.58ypc, 5.18ypc. Still a little high so that can be adjusted if you want. User passing has been perfect.

These sliders have been tracked across 8 teams; Arkansas, Florida State, Miami, Navy, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, and West Virginia. The users vary in ability and play styles but everyone has agreed on these sliders being the best they can be. Currently in season 2 there is only 1 undefeated team left (FSU).
