NCAA football is also known as College football or pigskin football.
Introduction:
Each team is a college (university) and they compete in divisions. The division that has the best teams is called the Division IA and is divided in to different conferences. The players are amateurs (they do not get paid to play) but they get a scholarship. Each football team can offer a free education to 85 players. NCAA football is very popular and get crowds of 100 000 spectators and generates millions of dollars per game in the USA. College football is all but clear because it does not have a true championship. There are more than 114 teams and they can’t play each other during one season. So each team plays a season of 14 games within their conference.
Each week a panel of reporters and coaches do vote on which team is pretty good and the result is compiled in a top25. It is a ranking based on impression by humans therefore it is totally unscientific even though complicated formulas are used to come up with the ranking therefore many discussions of fans are based on their idea why such a team is ranked so high or so low in the top 25.
The post season is a trip to a bowl. Cities that organize bowls invite teams to come compete for a game. Usually teams are selected according to how much money they will bring to the city with their fans. The team that wins the bowl gets a paycheck that can range from $500 thousands to $17 millions! For many years the top 1 and 2 did not play against each other so there was no way to really know which the best team was. But now there is the Bowl Championship Series that is a game where the number one and number two teams play. So that is the real final.
Welcome to College Football!
My Experience:
Very experienced player. I have been playing football video games since the original Nintendo. I consider myself of Heisman level. Remember these sliders will not work for everyone as we are all of different skill levels.
My Mission:
To have hard fought games with realistic statistics. In college football, anything can happen. I want to see the upsets happen every week, I want a challenge. I will post my game results as I go through my dynasty and will tweak areas to which are of concern. I hope you join me in making the most realistic set out there. I have started with a set that has promised me good results so far.
My Play Style:
I am the Wisconsin Badgers. Known for their big offensive lineman and big running backs, I pound the ball on the ground controlling the clock with a conservative tempo (runs down clock simulating huddle). Quarter Length will be important for you to determine. I choose 15 because I try and get it as close to real as possible. I play a 4-3 defense and first priority is to shut down the run. So for my statistics, it would not be uncommon to see big time of possession differences. Play the game to your liking.

Tried a quarter of these out. They felt realistic. My rust was very obvious as I was down 27-0 at the end of 1 against Washington with Miami. Most my mistakes were all my fault. I did turn up Human Pass Rush and turn down CPU Pass Rush. I also turned the CPU Interception down because the defensive lineman were catching picks like WRs.

Thank you for your feedback. Is much appreciated. These sliders are not easy, so being rusty as you said can contribute to that. I will not officially change the attributes that you have "yet" because I was able to sack UNLV 4 times and I make sure I use a quick pass game and gave up 0 sacks to them. Of course this is only UNLV, I will play Arizona State next at home and will post the results shortly.
Note: I use aggressive D-line play and being blitzes from all over. I shall see how I fair in week two against the Sun Devils.
Awesome, post your results with your variations and maybe we can perfect the small variations and be able to come up with a solid set. I have Austin Peay next game so I will not get much results, I should win by at least 21 if not more.
