Re: Djwlfpack's hybrid sliders

After not playing this game in nearly 3 months, I popped NCAA 11 into the PS3 today (I was craving some NCAA football after watching the NCAA 12 hype video) and had a nail-biter of a win over Wake Forest in my FSU Dynasty, 23-20.

Here's some stats:

Score by quarter
WF 0-3-7-10--20
FSU 3-0-3-17--23

Total Offense: FSU 429, WF 310
Rushing: FSU 29-98; WF 38-221 (I couldn't tackle their 6-1, 226-pound HB)
Passing: FSU 16-27-331; WF 7-16-89
3rd Down: FSU 3-10; WF 2-13
Turnovers: FSU 3; WF 0
Time of Possession: FSU 15:38; WF 16:22

This game was rated No. 5 in my ESPN Instant Classic poll. I was certainly rusty having not played in 3 months, but found my stride in the 4th quarter offensively. I forgot how frustrated I had grown with E.J. Manuel. He just makes some horrible throws.

Re: Djwlfpack's hybrid sliders

I'm about to break the game out again after a few months off, going to give your sliders a go as you seem to be getting good results.

Re: Djwlfpack's hybrid sliders

I just started playing NCAA 11 again and started up a dynasty with Temple.
I'm using these sliders... and I'm extremely impressed.
I'm 3-0, and justed finished up a 38-34 win against UCONN.
my RB had 109 yards on 30 attempts and i couldn't get my running game going, while their #1 rb had 150 yards and there backup had 78 of his own. what I love about these sliders is how balanced it makes the CPU play and how the running game works.
The deciding factor was a muffed screen pass that I ran back for a TD.
Temple/UCONN
Score: 38-34
Total yards: 381/481
passing: 233/238
running: 148/243
turnovers: 2/2
penalties: 2-25/6-40
time of possession: 19:19/18:53
great job!

Re: Djwlfpack's hybrid sliders

Glad you are enjoying them. I still play 1-2 games a week of NCAA 11, and still use these sliders.
