I've never posted any of my slider sets before, but I am very happy with these so I thought I'd share. I was averaging 10+ YPC with other sliders so if you want to tame your running game a bit, these are for you.

Re: ViLLiO's All-American Sliders (Difficult)

Here's my most recent test with these sliders (7 min qtrs). Pretty ridiculous that both my #1 QB and #1 RB got knocked out of the game on the first two plays, but that's beside the point.

Please note; I run a one back offense. I'd like to think that I mix in the run and pass pretty well, although I was off target with my QB in this specific game. All of these runs came from under center in the ace formations. I think I called a shotgun draw once.

I could test more if interested...

Re: ViLLiO's All-American Sliders (Difficult)

these sliders are good except you can't run the ball, i got blown out by michigan 50 some to 30 some as OSU

it was low scoring which i like and was realistic then it just got ugly with both teams lighting up the board but it was too late

i'm going to drop the cpu's rush D to still make it challenging but make it to where i can actually have the option to run the ball at all, also going to raise the hum tackle because 3 hits to get a guy down every play was just insane

Re: ViLLiO's All-American Sliders (Difficult)

Just finished up a game between UNC and Miami. I dropped a heartbreaker in Miami, 38-35. AJ Blue (UNC) got hurt in the third quarter, effectively crippling my running game. I became one dimensional, but was still in contension until about a minute to go when I failed to recover the onside kick. Miami's Lamar Miller torched the UNC defense for 4 TD's and 271 yards on the ground.

Here's how it looked statistically:

UNC

B. Renner 19-29, 272 YDS, 3 TD, INT

AJ Blue 12 CAR, 67 YDS, 2 TD
H. Furr 11 CAR, 17 YDS

D. Jones 7 REC, 151 YDS, 2 TD
J. Adams 5 REC, 44 YDS, TD
N. Hurst 4 REC, 52 YDS

MIA

J. Harris 11-19, 156 YDS, INT

L. Miller 28 CAR, 271 YDS, 4 TD

L. Miller 4 REC, 17 YDS
C. Ford 2 REC, 33 YDS

Should I be alarmed that my defense gave up almost 300 yards on the ground? The game has the Tar Heels defense listed as a B+, and the Hurricanes offense as an A-. Still, could weather have been a factor as well? This one was played in the rain. Either way, I liked the way the game played. At halftime, I was up 21-10. Then, like I said earlier, Blue went down in the beginning of the third and my balanced offense went down the toilet shortly thereafter.

You should probably change your gameplan... I average 100-150 on the ground against equal talent

But I have no problem dominating lesser teams on the ground... 1st quarter (8 min) stats

Re: ViLLiO's All-American Sliders (Difficult)

Personally, I normally would go with my alma mater (Southern California) but I'll occasionally use UNC when I want to use a team that doesn't have the talent or the probation status. I wouldn't say that running the ball was the problem for me in my last game. The problem was having to rely on a second string back who clearly was ill-equipped to handle the job.

I'm in the middle of a potential barnburner between the powers of ULL and Wyoming. I'm getting handled by Wyoming at the moment, 17-7. ULL has a pretty bare bones playbook and what I would consider to be a substandard roster. I probably won't finish the game but I like to see that ULL is still trying to hang in there.
