SportGamer's Coach Mode Sliders

With the new broadcast cam I've become a big fan of coach mode. Using these in an online dynasty. Will tweak as needed but have a solid set to start.

On AA a few things need to be addressed including (1) improving CPU run game, (2) Opening up pass game just a little. The pass rush in coach mode has a huge impact on completion %.

If you give these a try please feel free to provide some feedback...

Interested to hear the feedback. I've focused on the run game, but the latest changes I made are focusing on the pass game. I've seen some low completion % for a couple matchups and I think I've got things figured out with the most recent set.

Can you call plays and let the CPU run them? I'm loving watching games with broadcast cam but I chose to be offensive coordinator but after I pick the play it's on me to run it!! I would rather call plays and let CPU do the rest.

Yes you can do coach mode when your a coordinator

Made a few updates to try and give the CPU a little more offense.

Hum Tackling moved from 35 to 30
CPU Run Abil moved from 60 to 70

Hum Pass Rush moved from 45 to 40

Starting to feel like these are dialed in. Cpu offense is now something you have to respect and your playcalling is critical on D.

My dynasty scores have been 35-17 W, 10-3 W, an 42-10 L.

You can also do it in Play Now mode by setting the controller to "coach".

I played/coached a full game with these sliders and had a blast. I won 35-31 as ND against MSU in ND. MSU had the momentum in the first half and maintained a 10 point lead until midway through the 4th but I was able to come back and win.

It was an intense game and everything played the way I like. Both teams had some sacks, some ints some punts, a decent running game, etc.

The only worry I might have is that my kicker with 90 power and 86 accuracy missed a FG and an extra point. I actually think it's nice to see a good kicker miss a 46 yarder though I need a larger sample size to make sure he doesn't miss most of them. I'm much more worried about the missed XP even though he made the other 3 XPs he tried. Anyway I think the 25 for FGA might need to come up a bit.

All in all I really like these sliders and plan to stick with them. I hadn't played coach mode in a while but playing on the sticks with all kinds of different sliders this week I realized I'm nowhere near good enough for Heisman, especially on defense yet AA doesn't seem challenging.

25 FG Acc might be to low, but at default Pow/Acc 50/50 I have yet to miss a FG.

Just played Ohio stat at Michigan.I was Michigan.They were killing me at half 31-7,I rallied but ended up losing 44-28.Loved the sliders only change I had was 9 min qt to produce the right number of plays.here's some stats.

Ohio state total yards 418
48-239 rushing long of 73
B.Herron 30-191,He gashed me all day
12-23-189-2-1 for T.Pryor
Michigan total yards 341
26-121 rushing long of 44
Numbers split between the two tb's I think robin had like 2-14
14-35-221-2-2 between Robinson and Gardner.Robinson was hurt most of 1st half.Overall feel was good felt like the drops were a tad high for me much had 6 drops.Not sure about the kicking numbers nothing weird in that game.I'm more a 50 thresh guy,but the 40 played very well.I'm gonna try some different combo's of these and mine and see what I get.Great job with these so.So far I think there better then mine.Thanks for all your work

Played as Maryland at home versus Miami. Miami (CPU) beat me 20-7, scoring 20 unanswered points. I conceded the game with 4 minutes left in the 4th after going for it on 4th and 17 at my 17 yard line.

I played 7 minute quarters, and had punt accuracy at 70 for both USER and CPU. I played enough games to know accuracy has to be boosted for both.

Maryland (ME)
QB-5-14, 1 TD, 0 INTs SACKED 4 times
HB-19-43 (2.2)

Miami (CPU)
QB-8-21, 110 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT Sacked 1 time
HB-17-127 (7.4), 1 TD LONG 31 yards

Have to play them some more. You really have to worry about the run when using these sliders.

appreciate the feedback. a couple guys in my OD have complained about the missed fg's. I'm going to monitor for another week of the dynasty and adjust accordingly. did your kicker have the distance on the 46 yarder or was it short?
