Re: ESPN College Football: Global Sliders

I am doing some experimenting with varsity now because on that level the CPU reacts to what you do instead of playing like it knows what you're going to do. These sliders I found a little too easy but when I cranked it to the extreme (0's for me, 100's for the computer) I got beat down. So there is a level in here somewhere even for AA players (or maybe Heisman too).

Re: ESPN College Football: Global Sliders

I tried these, I didn't write down any stats but I'll give you my results and impressions.

My initial test of these sliders I was TCU at Alabama. (Somewhat even teams but still playing as an underdog) It played really nicely, I can finally complete passes but at half time I was up 24-0. So I knew right off the bat that wasn't going to fit for me, so I upped the difficulty to AA and had a rematch.

No stats but the final score was Alabama 24 TCU (me) 7. The game was A LOT closer than the score indicated. It was 17-7 in the 4th and we were threatening in the red zone. There was 7 interceptions between both teams (including the only TCU score) That was the only hiccup I discovered with this set.

So, in short; these are my new favorite sliders with a few of my own adjustments. It's the perfect middle ground for a player like me who isn't quite there to AA with sliders but Varsity is too much of a breeze. I know you aren't a fan of us tweaking it to our liking, but these are very nice, thank you.

Lastly, here's a recap of the adjustments I made to this set;
Upped the difficulty to AA
Speed Threshold to 35
Interceptions to 45
Speed at Normal

Very nice set, thank you! I'm hooked!

What does ESPN have to do with these sliders? lol
Just a very weird name for a set of sliders.

These can't b used pre-patch, just to easy. Pre patch is so much better, I can use default sliders on heisman.

Re: ESPN College Football: Global Sliders

ok ive run 3 games with this slider set and they work really good! I run my games cpu vs cpu. Right now im at UNC, running a pro style spread offense. My last game went to OT, i beat Ga Tech 22-19 in OT. My current game is at 0-3 ECU. i was up 13-0 in the first the last i saw. Ill post stats when its done.

The ONLY real question i have, how do i get the QB to not scramble as much. I think the last game (or the game before) my QB had like 18 runs, and only like 3 or 4 of those were sacks....thats way too much...and Renner isnt a scrambling QB. Is there any way to fix that, or is that just product of how the game is.

Re: ESPN College Football: Global Sliders

ok first, let me say...i was wrong. My QB (Renner) at UNC is classified as a scrambler in the game...so that eliminated my question. Here are my stats from the ECU game. And i went more pass heavy this game. ECU's rush defense was decent so i set my strategy to more pass heavy. And this was a CPU v CPU game

UNC (4-0) @ ECU (0-3)

Score: 41 20

1st Downs: 25 16

Total Off: 518 315

Rush (Team): 37 car, 149 yds 20 car, 25 yards

Rush TD: 2 0

Pass (Team): 31-53 34-36

Pass Yds: 369 290

3rd Dwn Conv: 6-17(71%) 9-22(40%)

Red Zone: 5 att, 3TD 2FG (100%) 4att, 1TD 1FG (50%)

Turnovers: 1 2

Fum Lost: 1 0

INT: 0 2

Penalties: 2- 15yds 1-5yds

T.O.P: 23:02 16:58

And i realized that after the game i had forgot to set the Auto-Subs. so this was using my auto sub settings. Im running my Louisville game right now with the Auto Sub settings from this thread. Ill post those stats when the games over. Winning team (unc) stats are in bold. What do yall think?
