Coaching Philosophy ???

Do the settings under Coaching Philosophy effect the CPU on your team and the team your coaching against?
On default settings my team was giving up nearly 8 sacks a game and the others team defense was blitzing on nearly every play. I begun playing around with these and found when lowering the slidders for "Defensive Playcalling Aggressive Style" the CPU doesnt blitz nearly as often. I tested this over the course of 4 games. Sacks were reduced to just 2 or 3 a game. Not sure if adjusting these really did effect the other teams CPU play calling or not. If so then maybe other settings in this area may need looking at for us coach moders

Thanks for the feed back ....

Re: Coaching Philosophy ???

It does affect their play calling. I, and others, have had a lot of success, both this year, and in previous years, using these sliders to get the CPU, in particular, to run the ball more.

Lowering the defensive aggressiveness will put the CPU in more 'vanilla' coverages, with less blitzing, so they work pretty much exactly how you think. As far as effectiveness goes, your mileage may vary.

One good thing about this year is that with an actual coach roster, you can set all the coach sliders once, and save it, rather than have to re-do them every time you start a dynasty, and they (should) affect play now.
