Reduce Pick 6's

Does anyone else have problems with an abundance of interceptions returned for touchdowns? I'm playing a game, and I'm only halfway through the 2nd quarter, and there have already been three of them (2 for the opponent, 1 for me). What's confusing is that I'll go games without any interceptions at all.

Anyway, is there any combination of slider adjustments that can fix this?

Re: Reduce Pick 6's

I would doubt it. EA has always been in love with the Pick-6. This has always been one of my gripes as well. I think the best you can do is to lower the INT slider...or maybe create a house rule for yourself....I know that these aren't great solutions.

I looked this up a few years ago, and if I recall, the average number of pick 6's was about 1 per team for the SEASON. So EA obviously has way to many...probably close to 1 a game.

Re: Reduce Pick 6's

This is just one (of many) examples of EA developing a football arcade game rather than a real football game.

I also find the number of cheats it uses to be competitive is very annoying, especially when you consider that inserting real football into the game would actually make it more competitive than it is now.
