Does Pass Interference get called?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but has anyone noticed any real pass interference called at any regular rate? I've slid the sliders back and forth, but there is little effect.

Currently, I'm playing RTG, Varsity, with mkharsh33's slider set.

I saved a highlight from a game last night that appeared to be an intentional interference by a safety on a deep post route. I'll try to upload the video later this afternoon, but in the frame is the WR, CB in chase, the S "blocking" me while the ball is still in the air, and the back judge/field judge right on top of things with no call. Humorous, I thought, and a little frustrating too.

I've cranked up all the sliders to max as mkharsh33 suggests, but no PI. I also rarely see any penalties except holding, offside, and false start. Not to sidetrack things, but a scrambling QB still gets blown up way out of bounds (should have been fixed this year me thinks).

Anyhow, even though penalties are sometimes a nuisance, I'd still like to see something called once in a while.

Yeah, the only time I have seen a pass interference call on the defense is when I hit stick a receiver about a second before he gets the ball. The route running though is a huge issue in my mind since I see it at least five times a game where a WR is running his route only to run into or get walked into by a LB or a another S while throwing a deep route.

It is really stupid and should be pass interference.

This has been a problem in the series for forever now. I think it's an animation that isn't triggering or something. When your WR is running his route and a LB hits him accidentally, the game doesn't register the WR doing anything other than running (and therefore won't call PI). Meanwhile, the ball zips on by and the WR never puts his hands up to try and catch it.

Nope! It will only get called if your do it on accident. If its in the game its not gonna be in EA's game! Just dont get it how can they sit around and not change this or do something about it? I think not one person on the ea team even watches football cause obviously they just make it look like its in the game but is not, whats sup with this watch a real game once pass interference occurs really

Only time I've seen it called is when I'm playing the defender and I screw up and clobber the receiver by accident.

I've never seen PI on this game, but saw in once in the Madden 12 demo. I increase the roughing the passer slider a few clicks to simulate PI calls (since it's the same yardage). Funny how when roughing the passer gets called I see PI on the same play a lot of times.

I just had my first PI called today after countless games. When I heard there was a flag I assumed it would be holding and was floored to hear it was actually PI!

yep I've probably played 40-50 games and have had one PI called for the same reason of the hit stick but I've also done it worse than my lone call and didn't get called at all go figure lol I've also only seen a handful of facemask calls

I too wish there was PI called, on either side. I also NEVER see blocked field goals, dropped punts, dropped hikes (correct terminology?) from the center or even bad sportsmanship. It's as if EA thinks everyone wants a game where the stadium sounds dead (and it does sound dead in between the little commentary), kicks are perfect and players act like nuns.
