All in all, not bad. Colorado pretty much sucks, and this was just a random playnow game. Gonna play with my Nittany Lions vs same BG team and see what happens. I should *destroy* them.

Re: AA Coach Mode (Based on SEC's)

One tweak. Lowered run defense to 20 (from 30), as I saw BGSU completely dominating the LOS, which would just not happen.

PSU 34 BGSU 3
1st downs: 18/15
offense: 541 ; 308
Rushing: 36/182-1 ; 22/57-0
Passing: 21/33 359 3-1 ; 22/42 251 0-0
Turnovers: 1 (int) ; 1 (FL)
3rd Down: 10/16 ; 4/15
Penalties: 5/52 ; 4/30
TOP: 20:43 ; 11:17

All in all, the stats feel real good about what this would be like. BGSU wouldn't be able to run the ball vs PSU. And even the YPC for PSU seems slightly low (5.1)...PSU should be able to average over 6 per carry vs a D+ defense.

Re: AA Coach Mode (Based on SEC's)

played 2 insane games with these.

Trailed Cal 17-3 (thanks to my QB throwing 2 pick 6, and 2 INT and 1 FUM)...Got Cal to bite on a PA, and my WR broke a tackle on a crossing route, and it was 17-10. Forced a 3 and out, and my RB Johnathan Franklin went 51 yards to the house. Interception, and a FG later I escape with a 20-17 win.

Next game at Arizona State. I was just under intense pressure. 8 sacks were given up to ASU (they blitz ALOT). ASU had over 400 yards of offense, 320 passing, and were up 24-20 with 1:07 left. I figured they would blitz on 2nd and short. I called Flanker Curl with a slot seam. Little did I know it would be the Safety blitz, and my seam was wide open...and got it for a 27-24 win.

Are these working pretty well post-patch? Also, did you just leave the special teams at default?

Also why disable HFA?

Re: AA Coach Mode (Based on SEC's)

these are working great for my ucla dynasty. I won the BCS my first year mainly because I leaned HARD on Johnathan Franklin (finished 2nd in the Heisman). I easily...easily could have lost 4 games.

I was in the BCS title game vs Mississippi State, and I was dominating the play...but I was only up 8-0. Miss State got a long run from Relf, and then my Saftey bit on a PA and Relf nailed the wide open TE for a TD.

I get a safety and am up 13-8 at the half. the 3rd quarter was very non-eventful, 3 punts each side. the 4th was the same way, until Mississippi State hit me up the gut on a draw for a 73 yard TD run to make it 14-13, they went for 2, and missed it. I get the ball back with 4:12 left, and march down to the 30, and figure, let's call a PA..I did, and sure enough threw an interception. Mississippi State did the right thing..****n, timeout, run, timeout, and on 3rd and long, they passed but it was incomplete.

I got the ball back with 1:47 left, and my first play is a bootleg right, and I hit my TE for 13, then I call a draw to Franklin for 12. For some reason my QB decided to takea sack on 1st down, for a loss of 8...then on 2nd down, I hit Rosario for 11, leaving a 3rd and 7. A WR screen was the call, and it would have worked...but I was tripped up by a diving LB for a gain of 5...4th and 2. I call power right, but Miss State shows blitz, so I audible to slants. Naturally my QB hits the back in the flat for a loss of 4, but a facemask saves my bacon. Next play I run HB slam, and it goes for 27 to the 3...FG with :02 left, and that was it.

My QB's were average that first year...combining for 57%, 2700 yards, 29 TD and 18 INT. My OL WAS AWFUL. Gave up 47 sacks.

I love how these are playing in coach mode. AWR is huge with these.

I turn HFA off because it's such a HUGE HUGE advantage for the hometeam. Andrew Luck performs like he's a 55 rated QB.

Re: AA Coach Mode (Based on SEC's)

Just beat Nebraska 28-24. Taylor Martinez threw for 268, and ran for 92.

Playing Houston now, and their QB is torching my cover 3, in the first half so far, but my team has 3 INT's and protecting a 17-7 lead.
