Sliders and CPU vs CPU

I've yet to see a good CPU vs CPU slider set. Players don't seem to play to their ratings no matter what and I'm seeing one of the following with any given set:

a) Extremely boring low scoring games that end in overtime
b) Extremely high scoring games that are won with field goals
c) Blowouts that turn into close games where the underdog wins most of the time

I think CPU vs CPU is just plain broken in this game tbh.

Just picked the game up after the patch and I'll be working on a slider set.I'm seeing much better play out of Madden though in CPU/CPU thus far.

Re: Sliders and CPU vs CPU

We need to find out what makes players play their stats, and if sliders will have the same effect in dynasty as in exhibition. The effects of Home Field Advantage Effects being on is also an interesting subject. I've seen games with it on where the home team gets annihilated early on but makes a comeback, games where the home team dominates, and games where the home team just gets blown out. I haven't seen any continuity with HFA.

Re: Sliders and CPU vs CPU

I like my CPUvCPU sliders but I have only played three games post patch. I need to do some more testing before I post anything. I have had one real blowout, and a couple of games were closer than they should have been.

I'm noticing huge comebacks and last second wins in the 4th quarter where the underdog wins every time. I've simmed this like 5 times with different sliders. Underdog always wins.

It hasn't happen with me. I did 3 matchups with OU Vs FSU and swapped home teams and FSU dominated home and away. There were no effects of HFA on either team.
