Re: what is the best set of cpu vs. cpu sliders?

Okay these are still a work in progress since the patch and tuned more towards coach mode than cpu vs cpu so the running game is a bit strong for that mode. I think there are probably too many sacks, but most are from scrambling QBs running into them. My biggest concern as I said is with vertical routes. I don't allow any for my team (as unrealistic as that is) but unfortunately they are there in cpu vs cpu games.

I also really wish I knew what punt accuracy does because even at 100, punters still have no clue how to pooch punt.

I'm testing these out with HFA turned off (AI vs AI can't seem to handle it on for some reason). Working pretty well so far.

Not sure I understand, do you mean it's too powerful? If so I haven't really experienced that either. For example after thrashing my then unbeaten Ohio State squad 31-7, #1 Penn st. went in to Camp Randall, which I let play out in cpu vs cpu because I felt Wisconsin would be their final tough test... It wasn't, Penn St. rolled an excellent Badgers team 34-14. Actually if anything I had been thinking HFA does not have enough effect.

Its weird, I know. I don't think HFA works right in AI vs AI sometimes. I honestly think it might work against the home team in some instances. Again, not sure, but I just have a feeling that having it on produces weird crap that wouldn't happen otherwise. I'll have to do some more extensive testing, but other AI vs AI sliders that I've seen seem to have it off most of the time too, so I have a feeling I might be right about this.

Re: what is the best set of cpu vs. cpu sliders?

This thread has great interest to me. I recently complained about outcomes and playcalling in CPU vs CPU games. Glad to see I'm not alone.
As to this HFA? Has anyone actually figured out what exactly HFA does?
In 2005, the HFA meant that the Home team started the game with "Momentum". Whatever that means.
Anyway, I'm having the same problems; Duke-14, Stanford-7 etc.
We need more input on this topic.
