IG: 100
RP: 50
RK: 100

NOTE: These sliders were crafted using GATORBAIT's rosters. For those who are using RoyalDuck76 rosters, the changers are in parentheses. ( )

ALSO, the changes to the slides for luv2tha9's rosters are in Brackets []

Characteristics:
- Average game time: 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.
- Games are more "free flowing" like real football games. Does not feel like your watching a arena football game with big play after big play.
- Teams scoring drives are a little more realistic. I've seen teams with 14 play, 3 1/2, 4 minute drives..
- Good teams find ways to win.. Example, BC was beating Penn State 24-7 at the half, Penny comes back to tie at the end of regulation 27-27,and wins the game in OT 33-27.
- OT games.

Cons:
- Very(and I mean very few) PR/KR touchdowns.

Stats from BYU (B) vs. Cal (B)

BYU Cal
Score 20 27
FDs 19 17
T. Off 346 358
Rush 89 103
Pass 257 255
T.O 2 2
Pens 3/35 7/56
TOP: 19:31 20:28
- Cal trailed 20-17 going into 4th quarter.
- Both teams had 9 punts ave. 40 yards per
- Sacks BYU 3 Cal: 1

Notable stats:
Mansion (Cal): 24-42, 255 yds, 3TDs
Heaps (BYU): 30-56, 257 yds, 1 INT

Sofele (Cal): 24 att, 86 yds

I did these testing on Play Now so they might be different on Dynasty.
Just use as a template, I'm using them right now, the main goal is even if you are using the same two teams, you want to see a different game every time. D and C teams has no business hanging with the A, B+ teams. C teams usually start out good in the 1st half but gets overwhelmed by the A & B teams in the 2nd half...

I test AvA, BvA, AvC, AvD, BvC, and so on...

Notable Scores from games:
Georgia 16 Florida State 27 (Georgia lead 10-7 at half)
Florida State 36 Georgia 20 (FSU lead 12-10 at Half)
Virginia 19 Michgan 31 (Michgan actually lead 31-6 after 3 Qs)
Penn State 33 Boston College 27 (OT)
Oregon State 21 Texas 26 (Oregon State score 3 TDs in 4th but could not complete comeback)
Oregon State 13 Texas 32 (Replay)
Kansas State 34 Arizona State 37 (OT, both teams combined for 1,079 yards of total offense..

Let me know what you think. I know a lot of you guys dont like the 10 min. Qs which is cool try them at 7-8 min Qs...

I have updated the QBA, you can use 30 for more accurate throws from the QBs. 35 QBs don't always hit their open man, more under throws.

Thanks

Re: DolpFan's 10 min. Varsity CPU v. CPU sliders.

Here was a good one:

Alabama 0 10 0 7 - 17
Miami(FL) 0 3 0 9 - 12

- Miami got the ball with 1:52 left in the game. Harris tried to scramble for a first down but fumbles on his own 32 YL. Alabama took the ball in on a 8 yard TD run by Lacy to seal it... However Miami struck back with a late TD with :42 left with a 56 yard strike. Miami then recovered the onside kick, took the ball down to the Alabama 28 yard line where they turn the ball over on downs and time ran out..

Stats:
Ala Mia
F.Ds 15 17
T. Off 376 430
Rush 115 75
Pass 261 355
T.Os 2 1
TOP 19:02 20:58
Pens 7/60 7/60
Total Plays 72 88

Alabama: 5 Sacks

Harris (Mia): 18-40, 355 yds, 1 TD
McCarron (Ala): 21-38, 261 yds, 1 TD, 2 Ints

Richardson (Ala): 17 rush, 28 yds (Kinda disapeared in the 2nd half)
Lacy (Ala): 12 rush, 100 yds, 1 TD (41 yard run)

Miller (Mia): 20 rush, 50 yds
Jones (Mia): 13 rush, 13 yds

NOTE: This game was between two A rated teams

Re: DolpFan's 10 min. Varsity CPU v. CPU sliders.

I tested these sliders in a dynasty and here is results from one of the games:

I moved ND to the Big East and TCU and Houston to the Big 12 and a few others to the MWC and the schedule generator threw out some interesting schedules i.e. Cal opens the season against Fresno St. but in my dynasty they open the season at Maryland. Arizona instead of opening the season against Northern Arizona at home, open at Tulane in my dynasty. I dont think EA made mistakes to the schedules its justwhat the CPU generated. Notre Dame open the season at home against West Virginia but then play the next 5 weeks on the road and then have 4 straight home games.. ahh well..

week 1 Dynasty game:

Cal 0 0 9 7 - 16
Maryland 17 7 7 6 - 37

Cal Mary
FDs 11 15
T. Off 288 431
Rush 18 79
Pass 270 352
T.Os 2 1
Pens 8/73 3/30
TOP 18:52 21:08
Plays 69 72 144

Stats:

Mansion(Cal): 23-38, 270 yds, 2 TDs
O Brian(Mary): 20-33, 352 yds, 3 TDs, 1 int

Meggett(Mary): 23 rush, 80 yds, 1 TD
Sofele(Cal): 14 rush, 46 yds

McCree(Mary): 5 rec, 178 yds, 2 TDs

Maryland: 5 Sacks

NOTES:
- Teams were rated B and B
- I seen about 7 game tracks!! featuring the game O Brian was having, McCree's receiving performance, Maryland's Defense, the Maryland DE that had 3 of the 5 sacks, Cal's troubled Offense and awful 1st half... pretty nice..
- QBA at 30

Arizona at Tulane next..

See what happens when you do zero pass coverage. Zero seems to be the new 100

Re: DolpFan's 10 min. Varsity CPU v. CPU sliders.

(B+) Arizona 3 10 0 14 - 27
(C-) Tulane 7 7 9 0 - 23

When Tulane got a safety to go up 23-13 with a little over 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter, I said "oh-oh"..Tulane went into the 4th quarter with a 10 point lead against a favored pac 12 team.. Arizona could not move the ball on the ground until the 4th quarter.. Arizona had 2 chances in the red zone early in the 4th quarter but instead of kicking FGs they went on 4th down and TODs each time!!

Arizona scored a 56 yd TD pass and the go ahead 36 yd TD with 1:46 to play in the game!! Tulane actually moved the ball to the Ariz. 32 before being picked off by the ILB to seal the game..
This game was crazy to watch.. With 5 minutes to go in the game, your thinking there is no way Arizona is gonna win this game. but a few draws and a great seam route by the TE for the 1st TD and then the GW TD scored on a 36 yd fade to go ahead.. Thats what i said about these slides.. the good teams find ways to win in the end without the plays looking flukish or unreal..

Here is the stats:
Ariz Tul
FDs 24 16
TOff 539 360
Rush 178 96
Pass 361 264
TOs 2 1
Pens 11/95 12/77
Plays 85 67 152
TOP 23:02 16:57

Stats:

Foles(Ariz): 24-44, 361 yds, 2 TDs, 2 ints, 15 rush, 67 yds
Griffin(Tul): 19-35, 264 yds,1 int

Im thinking about changing the FGP back to default and INT to 35 but im averaging 3 TOs a game right now.. I dont want it to go up to 5-6 but we'll see..

You're absolutely right rammy!!

The sliders that seem to be inverted are:
- QB Accuracy
- Pass Blocking
- WR Catching
- Run Blocking
- Pass Coverage
- Pass Rush
- Interceptions
- Tackling (It seems hits are harder as the slider is moved more to the right)

These sliders the more you move them to the left the more effective they are. Thats just from messing with them in my opinion..

BTW, i did not touch the Subs and coaching slides.. I left them at default..

Possible Changes:
- Move INT to 35
- Move FGP to default (50) (Its probably why Arizona went on 4th down instead of kicking FGs. Either that or Coach Stoops reminded his guys "THIS IS TULANE DANGIT!!" )

Again, if anyone have any suggestions on how to make a better 10 min game please post your comments and lets try them out!!
ALSO, Im happy with the total plays around 140-160 feels about right although I think real games are more 120-140..
AND any suggestions on how to improve punt and kick returns are GREATLY appreciated

Re: DolpFan's 10 min. Varsity CPU v. CPU sliders.

Ok dolpfan so you are seeing what I'm seeing. Big plays happen but not like they do one pass cov 100! Someone pointed that out in another thread but I forgot who it was. I'm a CPU vs CPU guy and I was thisclose to returning this game until that zero thing was pointed out.
