Soulless,s User Abuse Sliders (Heisman)

Skill Level: Heisman
Quarter Length: 7 - 8 min (teams usually have decent stats; 300-500 yrds of offense)
Speed:fast
(this is user preference, but if playing on slower speed, increase minute)
Threshold: 0

Penalties:
Offsides: 52
False Start: 48
Holding: 50
Facemask: 53
OPI: 100
DPI: 100
KR/PRI: 100
Clipping: 48
IG: 100
Roughing Pass: 52
Roughing Kick: 52

Heisman Sliders:
These sliders are made to be challenging while removing as much suction and cheese out of the cpu game as possible. Anything that I think is a user responsibility is giving a user slider rating of zero (except for wr catching, because it affects stats too much).

CPU // User when Applicable (Slider settings with one number are the same for both the user and CPU)

QBA: 40// 0

Pass Blocking: 60

RBA: 50 // 0

WR Catch: 15

Run Block: 40 // 10

Pass Coverage: 50 // 0

Pass Rush: 5 // 0

Interceptions: 20

Rush Defense: 40 // 0

Tackling: 10 // 0

Special Teams:
FGP: 50
FGA: 35
PPR: 45
PAC: 50
KOP: 50

Try them out. Works well CPU vs Human and CPU vs CPU broadcasts games. Please try them, rate them, enjoy them.

Re: Soulless,s User Abuse Sliders (Heisman)

It seems as though the zeros are scaring people off. With these settings I get a competitive game against the CPU while still putting up realistic stats. The zeros for users make the game play like actual football. The user actually has to put together drives instead of scoring in 3-4 plays every drive. I regularly have to put together 10-16 play drives to score.
Many people think that raising the value of the sliders makes the game more difficult-it doesn't, it just makes big plays happen more frequently. Real football doesn't have 6, 20+ yrd scores every game.
I will post stats and scores from my offline dynasty after this season. I'm waiting til the 4th yr of my dynasty to see how player tendency affects my stats. So far, in my offline dynasty (up to yr 3) I haven't won a heisman, and I've only had 6 all Americans. I'm playing in the sun belt w/ teambuilder teams and an automatic bcs bid for conf champ.

Re: Soulless,s User Abuse Sliders (Heisman)

Ok, season 4, and I just finished my opening game. I'm running a 2 qb system, spread/power option, with a west coast/quick pass game (custom playbook).
First game of the season for me is Tanner A&M (user) at Florida State. I'm the number 4 ranked team in the country and Florida State is unranked.
Florida State OVR 97 OFF 96 DEF 96
DT Tim Jernigan (B) OVR 94 STR 90 BSH 92
HB James Wilder (P) OVR 93 BTK 97 SPD 89
SS Karlos Williams (H) OVR 92 AWR 87 PRC 92

Tanner A&M OVR 94 OFF 96 DEF 90
LB Roy Lewis (R) OVR 93 AWR 99 TAK 87
WR Eugene Stanley (P) OVR 91 SPD 90 CTH 99
CB Cody Tatum (H) OVR 91 SPD 95 MCV 96

First play from scrimmage, and Florida State's power back, Wilder, takes an off tackle run, breaks to the outside, runs over my safety and immediately goes to the house 80 yards for a TD. I go three and out my first two drives, before putting together a nice 11-play, 78 yard drive to tie the game at the end of the first quarter.
Second quarter. I hold Florida State to a three and out. I get a good drive going, moving the ball across the 50. I get to Florida State's 30 before they pull out some well timed blitzes and sack me 2 times in a row. I maintain field position and kick a field goal to take the lead 10-7. Florida State comes back with 3 runs in a row. The last run goes for a 35 yard TD by Wilder. Atfer trading three in and outs, Florida state comes out with some big throws as the time ticks down in the 2nd quarter. They finished out the half with a field goal and a 7-point lead. By the end of the 2nd half, Wilder has over 200 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Florida State isn't passing much with such a great running attack.
3rd quarter. The 3rd quarter starts off with a defensive standstill. We trade three and outs back and forward, then Florida State starts to work the ball to Wilder again. Wilder gets Florida State across the 50 and into field goal range before Tanner A&M gets a big sack by the OLB. Florida State misses the field goal. Tanner A&M drives down the field with momentum. After a big pass play Tanner A&M goes for the end zone. The ball is picked on the 16 and Florida State takes possession back. The 3rd quarter ends with no scores. Florida State keeps the 7-point lead.
4th quarter. Florida State starts the 4th quarter with the same powerful rushing attack they had used all game. Florida State immediately goes down field, but Tanner A&M holds them to a field goal. Florida State is winning 20-10. Ensuing kickoff. Tanner A&M freshman running back gets the kick and takes it to the house 99 yards for a TD. Score is Florida State 20, Tanner A&M 17. Both teams trade some huge defensive plays. Then, with 55 seconds left in the game, Anderson (reciever for Tanner A&M) gets behind the LBs and catches a pass over the middle. He runs it in 74 yards for Tanner A&Ms first lead of the game. Florida State gets the ball back and drives to the Tanner A&M 40. Florida State launches a hail mary with 8 seconds left. It's knocked away in the end zone to preserve the victory for Tanner A&M.

Game Notes
Tanner A&M's offense looks to run wild over a sub-par defense in UNLV. UNLV's defense suffers from poor defensive line play. Pair that with a below average secondary and Tanner A&M should have no trouble finding holes in the coverage today. Tanner A&M comes in sporting a tough defense w/ preseason AA talent at CB, DE, and OLB. UNLV looks to have a tough day on offense w/ sub-par talent at key offensive line positions.

I can't really say, as I mostly made these to give myself a challenge offline. If you try them out user vs user let me know. I've been wanting to start an online dynasty using them, but I've been too busy as of late. The key part that the ratings affect is what I deem, user responsibility. In that case, what should happen is, the better the stick skills and strategy of the user the easier it is to score/stop scores.
