Speed threshold: 50 (for now)
Game speed: Normal
Quarter length: 9-11 minutes (there should be 130-150 plays total per game, about 65-70 per team; make sure you adjust for your clock managment style to get realistic statistics and yardage--I use 11)

Human/CPU: This year (last year)
QB accuracy: ?? (last year 35/50)
Pass blocking: ?? (50/55)
WR catching: ?? (40/40; goal 3-4 drops per game for an A/B team)
RB ability: ?? (50/60)
Run blocking: ?? (50/55)
Pass coverage: ?? (40/50)
Pass rush: ?? (40/50)
Interceptions: ?? (35/35) (goal of 1-2 per game)

FG accuracy: ?? (30/40)
Punting power: ?? (30/45)
Punting accuracy: ?? (50/50)
Kickoff power: ?? (50/50)

Penalties:
Offside: 90
False start: 95
Holding: 52
Facemask:53 (count 1 facemask penalty or RP as pass interference since that is never called)
Off PI:100 (never seen one)
Def PI:100 (never seen one)
KR/PR Interf: 100 (never seen one)
Clipping:54
Intent grounding:100 (never seen one)
Roughing passer:60 (goal 1 per game per side to replace pass interference)
Roughing kicker:65

Autosubs (Sub out/Sub in):
Running back: 84/85 (doesn't work but next level removes in 4th quarter, use formation subs)

Coaching sliders: No changes recommended to defensive sliders, only change pass/run. Substitution sliders don't effect gameplay only simulation so don't touch. The Pass % should be set to match the teams listed pass %. See the table at the bottom of this page.
FG attempt issue looks to have been fixed in Heisman.

These are mostly placeholders for now. I will be updating over the next two weeks. Current update is for explanation of pass rush and pass block sliders. Expect QB and catching sliders next (interceptions slider can only be tested in game).

Huge slider breakthrough. Threshold is not actually effecting speed. I made identical WR/CB and ran the same route 20 times with different threshold settings. Currently the AI blows their coverage 100% of the time with this at 0 and is great almost all the time at 100. The pass coverage slider seemed broken but once I increased threshold the pass coverage slider is hugely important. It now allows you to cause open recievers to be from blown coverage primarily.

Incidentally I also tested the deep man routes and can't tell much difference. I suspect this slider isn't functioning as advertised at all.

Oraeon,

Are you going to test out the injury ratings this season again? Those were golden last season.

Glad to see that you are back at sliders again this year.

Re: Oraeon's Statistics in sliders for NCAA13

Played a half with OP set before I realized I had to get to bed, in bed typing now haha.

Half was amazing! I played Minnesota (me) at Iowa in my offline dynasty as a random game. The half was exciting with big plays, stuffs, sacks, fumbles, diving catches, battles for balls, etc... It was College football.

Here are the notes:

Immediately 4 RTP, 3 for human one for CPU.. I then inserted a different penalty slider set from last year and had great results moving forward- will share if you wish but IMHO I dont think your op set is gonna work

Kick acc for user- Pat was a pooch kick and didn't make it past the line at 30acc.. Then same thing happened on a 49 yd attempt- 30 is not gonna work here
CPU Kicker missed 1 40-49 and 50+
Made 24 and 23 yard fg- he was 84pwr/88acC
Nice animation on drop on a throw behind his back for CPU te
Diving catches, over/under throws*seen
1 fumble each team (off screen for CPU, WR big hit for user)
28 user plays/44 CPU in the half-9 min qtrs
108 user/ 208 total offense
User sacKed once, CPU 3 times
50 user /62% comp*
No broken tackles in the half
6 CPU drops*** 1 user
17 user pancakes***
1 CPU*** last year the user couldn't buy a pancake... Now they're all rimington award winners lol

I did no switch on defense only contolled DT
Auto throw on offense allowing my qb to throw, throw away, take sack.. I will scramble if he holds a long time 4-5 sec and there is an open lane / sense pocket breaking down. No user picks or catch.. I control all specials

Hopefully these notes help you out bc this set was a lot of fun and challenging

Score was 13-6 iwoa at the half, BUT if the kicking acc was at a playable lev, I would hav been 13-10 iowa as I would have made the fg and pat.. Or at least the pat!

Thanks for the update. I am adjusting the penaly and run sliders with in game testing over the next two days. You are right the penalty sliders need serious adjustment I have already reduced holding to 53 and increased false start. I have also already increased the punt and FG power sliders so don't worry these categories are not finished.

Also in my testing the CPU run offense is very poor. I have already increased run blocking and decreased rushing defense slider and would recommend you try the same.

Finally how did you get that many pancakes. Are you playing on All-american. They still seem somewhat broken in my game so I am wondering if you are using and different slider adjustments on pass rush or pass blocking (could you please post your current settings for these).

THanks for the help.
