why did EA get rid of the auto-adjusting slider option?

i used to love that feature, then it just disappeared about 1-2 games ago and never saw an EA rep actually say why.

i didnt see the harm since it was an option along with still having manual slider settings if u wanted for all 4 difficulties, after 2-3 games the auto A.I. sliders produced balanced games, now were back to trial-n-error manual adjustments

That was a Madden feature and only lasted 2 years. It was never in NCAA.
