Played a game using these slider last night in my Dynasty. Cal at WSU, Cougars pretty much ran at will with Gavin getting 163 yrd and 1 TD. I was 14-16 with Tuel and won the game 24-10. Cal never really challenged WSU defense and ended up with 229 yards offense for the game. I will try the adjusted pass coverage sliders tonight.

Computer Defensive backfield played much better with this slider set.

Yeah try out the new set. It may just be that the AI offense on Varsity can't get it done. I am also going to look at the human rush defense slider and see if that could possibly be reversed too.

Overall, 24 points scored and 169 on the ground isn't all that unrealistic. If Cal could have got an offense going and put up 35, everything would look better. Going to test a few more things tonight.

DELETED ALL PATCHES AND TUNER
Then played with the following:

Varsity
8 min
Very fast / 0 threshold

User/ CPU
Qba-100/100
Pass block- 50/100
Catch-50/50
Rb ability-50/50
Run block-100/100
Pass cov-0/0
Int-50/50
Pass rush-100/50
Rush d-100/100
Tackle-50/50

This was regular game with auto pass.
I used no four verts, no audibles, only flipped plays and motioned wr, keyed offense players when i was on D. Did not guess run/pass

I also used arkansaws REVERSED coach sliders and run/pass defense as close ton50/50 as possible as stated in my coach slider thread

The results: i was illinois facing La tech. I won 31-14. BUT it was 17-14 entering the 4th quarter, 14-7 THEM at the half! Once my o line got hot, they couldn't stop my running game.. Saw some beautiful reads running the ball by the AI players on my team and theirs. The read option was huge for them as well as... The Wild cat! Their wr dropped a ball after beating my coverage (was ripped loose) that would have put them in position to tie the game at 17.. After that , I took over .

Stats - it is worth noting that la techs highest awr Corner was 55!
User passing- 18/24 246 2td 0int sacked 4
CPU passing- 16/24 170(woulda been plus 40 if wr held on to long ball) 0 td 1int sacked 4
No screen sacks

Rushing team stats
User-33 for 167 2 td 1 fumble lost
CPU- 30 for 103 2 td

Wr drops
User-2
CPU- 2

Pancakes- about 10-12 for each team.. Highest player had 4 on each side. I am certain this is threshold related ONLY. With sliders as posted above, at NORMAL 50 thresh, pc stats were perfect. So that is my next test- if it doesn't affect the OTHER stats and gameplay, this might be my set. Will play this same game again tomorrow night.

****I am still testing these but I can say for certain that the safeties play as they should and the AI can actually score some points. There is alot of room to make these harder.

Don't run 4 verticals, but the AI safteties have been giving help over the top on almost every play.
Should I raise or lower human WR catching if there are too many dropped balls? My star #1 receiver has dropped 6 catches. 4 in a row on 3rd down. All wide open except 2 where he jumped, caught, then was barely hit and dropped. Annoying as hell. I can understand maybe 2-3 dropped but 6??

Great thanks. One last thing. My defense stares at the ball carrier and doesn't go after to tackle him sometimes. Also I'm not getting many interceptions. Do I raise the coverage and int sliders for human or lower them?

Raise rush defense and int if you want more INT and quicker defensive reaction.
